Creative Task #2 — One Sound, One Minute
Set a timer for 15 minutes. Pick one single sound.Any sound. Synth, sample, noise, mistake. You’re allowed to: - stretch it - filter it - repeat it You’re not allowed to add anything else. Use that one sound to build one minute of music. At some point you’ll want to add “just one more thing”. That’s the moment to pay attention. When the minute is done, stop. At what point did you feel the urge to break the rule?

Creative Task #1 — Your Voice Is the Kit
Today, don’t open your sample library. Use only your voice. Clap, breathe, hum, click your tongue, whisper, tap the desk. Record it however you can. Phone is fine. Rough is fine. Build a drum loop from that material. No layering to impress. No cleaning things up too much. The goal isn’t to sound “good”. It’s to notice how quickly your ear starts making decisions when options are limited. When you’re done, stop early. If you want to share: what surprised you while listening back?

LET'S BEGIN
Welcome. I’m glad you’re here. This space exists for one reason: to explore the creative side of music production. Not presets. Not hacks. Not “how to sound like X in 5 minutes”. We’re here to work on the part that usually gets ignored: - how ideas are born - how decisions are made - how blocks show up - how taste develops - how to keep going when inspiration doesn’t show up on time This is not about finishing perfect tracks. It's about training your creative muscles so producing doesn’t feel like a constant fight. You’ll see exercises with limits, unfinished ideas, awkward experiments, strange questions. That’s intentional. Creativity grows there, not in polish. One important thing from the start: we’ll talk more about process than results. What you tried matters more than what you made. For now, take a moment and share this (if you feel like it): What usually blocks you the most when you sit down to produce? No right answers.Just honest ones. Let’s begin.
