Creative Task #1 — Your Voice Is the Kit
Today, don’t open your sample library.
Use only your voice.
Clap, breathe, hum, click your tongue, whisper, tap the desk.
Record it however you can. Phone is fine. Rough is fine.
Build a drum loop from that material.
No layering to impress.
No cleaning things up too much.
The goal isn’t to sound “good”.
It’s to notice how quickly your ear starts making decisions when options are limited.
When you’re done, stop early.
