Idk who needs to hear this, but if you’re rubbing heavy clay or paste straight into damp hair right out of the shower, you're literally sabotaging your hair before you even leave the house. I used to do this every single morning. I'd put it in, look in the mirror, think it looked solid, and then an hour later it completely collapsed and went flat. It turns out heavy product + water weight basically just weighs your hair down like cement. I changed up my routine this week and it's a complete game-changer. Try this tomorrow: 1. Towel dry until it’s barely damp. 2. Hit it with a little sea salt spray or pre-styler, then blow-dry it completely into the shape you actually want. This is what actually builds the volume and structure. 3. Only put your actual styling product in once your hair is 100% dry and cooled down. And use way less than you think you need. Seriously, my hair has had volume all day today and hasn't budged. Hope this helps anyone else struggling with flat hair. What’s everyone’s go-to routine for getting actual volume? Let me know below 👇
