Relationship Marketing is King
I had a call yesterday with a friend and past colleague Michelle Graves, who recommended a book "The Seven Levels of Communication: Go From Relationships to Referrals". We both deeply agree about the importance of building and maintaining relationships with clients. At Bill Good Marketing, were we worked together, she as the Head of Client Accounts and I as V.P. of Business Development, both learned so much about how to do it, and to help our clients do it successfully. I'm sure it will be a great read. https://www.amazon.com/7L-Levels-Communication-Relationships-Referrals/dp/1942952473 What are your thoughts on this subject. Do you have books you recommend on the overall subject of having and maintaining meaningful relationships?

You might like 4 Essential Keys to Effective Communication. Here is an excerpt from the book, "But when it came to really empathizing with the speaker, and focusing on trying to understand their meaning from their point of view, particularly on topics of importance to them, it was clear I was only listening at a surface level much of the time." This book is about learning the skills to really listen effectively, to listen beyond the surface level.
