This video is such good inspiration for me in those hobbies I have where I don't feel as good as I want to be. It is such a good reminder that we just need to be patient and create lots.

I've been around the block when it comes to book marketing. Been doing this for years. Sold thousands of copies. But here's the thing I've noticed between the indie authors that sell a bunch of books and those that flounder for attention. The indies that are selling lots of books have a terrific cover. Your book cover is the single most important piece of book marketing you can do. If it doesn't blend in among traditionally published books, you're sunk. Whatever you do, do NOT cheap out on your book cover. Do whatever you can to make sure that book cover would stop someone in their tracks at a Barnes & Noble.

I firmly believe that we have time for whatever we make time for - I'm just struggling to actually put that into practice haha. Where do you guys fit writing in your day? Or week?

Now that its been almost a month....What was everyone's favorite takeaway from StoryCon? I loved Sanderson's Keynote when he talked about how dedicated he was to being the author who wrote hundreds of books because he loved writing instead of for the fame or money. It has made me really ponder how I approach things I enjoy in life.
