Improving Cortisol Balance
TAKING ACTION: ✅New Clients: Skip straight to the bottom of this post and check out the ⭐️ NEW CLIENT INFO! The ⭐️ NEW CLIENT INFO ⭐️ at the bottom of each day’s post will be your go-to this month for the basics in here. ✅VIP/Veteran Clients: Share with me below—what intermittent fasting protocol are you practicing this month to support balanced cortisol? Also, don’t forget to check out the extra Breathwork session after today’s workout! You know what today is—it’s the day we begin a brand new challenge! This month, it’s all about cortisol and strength, and we’ve strategically created our programming to help you do just that! Here’s how we’re going to improve our overall cortisol balance this month ⬇️ 📌We’re sticking with a 14:10 intermittent fasting protocol to reduce overall stress on the body. Feel free to try a 12:12 protocol if your stress symptoms are higher than average. Ask me if you have questions about an appropriate fasting protocol for you this month. The 14:10 means fasting for 14 hours and having an eating window for 10. The 12:12 is fasting for 12 hours and having an eating window of 12 hours. 📌We’re adding in Breathwork after the workouts on Mondays and Thursdays! *SEE COMMENTS FOR BOTH* 📌And of course, here in our small group, we’re going to talk about all things cortisol and stress. I’ll be giving you cortisol-balancing tips along the way! I think you’re going to enjoy what you learn about cortisol this month. It isn’t the enemy everyone thinks it is. Imbalanced cortisol is where the problem comes in. Fortunately, after this month, you’re going to know exactly what you need to do to get your cortisol levels working FOR and WITH you—instead of against you! 💯 ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ ⬇️⭐️NEW CLIENT INFO and TO-DO’s⭐️⬇️ Happy Day One! I am honored you’re here, and I am looking forward to helping you learn the best and most effective way to reach your health and wellness goals!

@Aleiah Barker 2 questions: 1.) May seem a little like a silly question, but from someone who has never officially intermittent fasted, can most of our fasting hours be while sleeping? 2.) Majority of my days, I am not usually hungry until on after lunch, however, once I start eating, I find myself frequently, if not constantly hungry. What can or should I do to change or correct that?
I don’t have to, I get to!
This is from one of my devotionals today. 💕 This makes me see the phrase I don’t have to, I get to, so much differently. 💕

I LOVE this!! Thank you for sharing!! It definitely changes your perspective! I noticed that you have your devotional on your Kindle. I have a Kindle and (for lack of a better way to say it), I did not know this was an option. Do you mind sharing what Devotional you are using?
Hot Flashes
I’ve been collecting data in my head about these blasted hot flashes. With all the changes I’ve made since May & the taking Calcium D-Glucarate, the hot flashes/night sweats have decreased and the intensity has decreased. But I have noticed that if I get upset about something, I will have more and they will be more intense. One day last week, I had to go over some legal stuff - which I hate. Hot flashes. I had a “spat” with my husband (something stupid but I got upset) - hot flashes. One night, we talked about finances and the IRS right before bed - terrible night sweats that night. Is this because cortisol is rising?

@Jennifer Hood yes, like they don't have a care or worry in the world! So frustrating! My husband falls fast asleep as soon as his head hits the pillow! How does he do that?!? I am better than I was, but still am not that fast!

@Aleiah Barker does cortisol not affect men in any of the ways that it affects women?
No Deodorant Experiment 😷🤣
After last night’s zoom, I washed off my deodorant. (Be Well Deodorant) I’m by myself today, so the experiment continues. 🤣 My left armpit is ok, barely a smell, but my right one smells like an onion! 🧅🤣 I am going to shower before anyone gets home. 🤣🤣🤣

I would love to try this, but have to admit that I am big 'ol fraidy cat. My Mama, Lord Bless her heart and how I miss her, ingrained in us to put on our deodorant. I have transitioned to my Be Well deodorant and love it! Baby steps!
Tea Time ☕️
Look what came in!!! Now I’m waiting on the tea to get here. I’ve never had hot tea, so I need all the “tea” on how to fix it so I’ll be ready when it comes! I ordered the Sleep Well and the Be Well tea. I ordered the tea cup from Discount Divas. It’s listed as pink, but it’s more of a melon color. https://discountdivas.com/products/id/75074?shared=1&referrer_id=990553&referral=RNKNGREF

I also looked at these cups and how cute they are, but hot tea is yet another thing that I can't make myself like. Will everyone please share what types of hot tea y'all are drinking and the ways that you flavor or sweetener it? Maybe something will finally work for me.
