The Name that Shape Us: Day 2
well, I know this is coming in late, but this one was so key to me in my healing journey. EL ROI- The God who sees me How many times have you shown up for people? Sacrificed even your own time, talent, money? Went above and beyond to make sure someone was good and taken care of, only to end the day feeling invisible? How many times do you say who's going to show up for me? Who sees that I'm exhausted, or that I need to be held, in spirit, emotionally...and quite frankly physically? Many women spend years trying to be noticed, chosen, validated, or affirmed by others, but when you know God see you: You stop performing for approval You stop shrinking to avoid rejections You stop abandoning yourself to keep people comfortable You learn how to show up authentically because you know that your worth is not dependant on someone's attention. Think about it, where have you been overextending yourself, and missing the fact that your identity is mirrored after the God who sees? Declare: I am seen!

Pay Attention to Your World
What do I mean? I'm glad you asked. This last week something happened and I was triggered. (yup, transparent moment!) It was bad, and it destroyed my whole mood, and I immediately retreated into a mental funk. I let my emotions get the best of me, but there is light at the end of this tunnel, and I hope you can glean the lesson. Once I calmed down and regulated my emotions, I heard the Holy Spirit say, " you are triggered because this is the area that I want to free you" It wasn't a surprise just another reminder that I had not let God into that area. So, I surrendered. I prayed, I told God, I give it to Him, and I really have. Here's the lesson, well, mostly a reminder. God speaks in our situations and circumstances. If we will regulate our emotions AKA, get out of your feelings, and allow Him to show you what is really going on. Often times it's not about the situation, often times it's about what the situation is trying to teach you. So, today, stop for a moment, and evaluate what's been going on in your world lately because iI guarantee that God is speaking. How can you be more present to the spirit of God speaking into your life this week? What are somethings you do to make sure you are in tune and listening to the voice of God?

This is so powerful and I’m happy that you shared this vulnerability with us because so many of us try to handle it alone and there is always someone else going through a similar situation, BUT GOD! when we pay attention has a message for us! Thank you so much for sharing!!
