Wins for the week
Hey guys, I honestly can't say I have some definite examples of wins for the week, but I will generalize if I may... I just feel like this week was good. I felt good, I felt confident, I felt like a good version of "me". I'm over whatever illness was slowing down, my physical therapy is progressing nicely and feel good (I really don't like making it sound like my shoulder surgery recovery is an excuse, but for now it is a reality I'm working through 💪), I'm accomplishing tasks I want to do daily that have become new habits, my relationships with friends and family are good and solid. I just feel like I'm really getting to be who I'm trying to be. I like it, and I'm happy during the constant process. 👍💪🙏🤜🤛 I will accomplish something tomorrow ahead of schedule that I will definitely consider a win, but it hasn't happened yet so I'll report it next week. 👍💪

Sounds like a win to me Ron, even if you feel like you’re on idle, you aren’t turned off. Taking note and awareness is still progression. 👊
The Two Minute Money Move
We talk a lot about building strength, improving our health, and showing up for our families. But what about our financial health? Building wealth requires the same consistency as building muscle. You don’t need thousands of dollars to start making better financial decisions. Sometimes it takes just two minutes. Check your bank account. Review a subscription you no longer use. Transfer $10 into savings. Make a small extra payment toward high-interest debt. Set up an automatic investment for your next payday. The amount isn’t always what’s important. It’s building the habit of taking control of your money. Small financial decisions, repeated over months and years, can make a massive difference. FORGE ACCOUNTABILITY What’s one financial move you can make TODAY that takes less than two minutes? Drop it below, gentlemen. Whether it’s saving, investing, cutting expenses, or paying down debt, let’s hear it.

Might be extreme for some but for our family we cut out our internet provider completely. We have unlimited or close to unlimited data packages on our phone so we just hotspot the tv and laptops when we need them. It also makes us think a little harder on whether we actually want to set up the tv to stream something. Saves us about 60-80 bucks a month and kept us from buying the starlink equipment etc.. All our investing is automated, multiple TFSA’s , RRSP’s, company pension matching, RESP. And then everything extra gets put into a high interest savings. We are actually on a collective “spending freeze” to allow us extra towards some big housing changes next spring.
Your Bad Day Protocol
We all have those days. You slept like garbage. Work kicked your ass. The kids have activities, and by the time you get home, you’ve got nothing left in the tank. This is where your standards get tested. You don’t need to crush a workout or accomplish everything on your to-do list. You need a backup plan. Maybe your bad-day protocol looks like: - 10 minutes of walking or mobility. - Hitting your protein target. - 15 minutes of quality time with your kids. - Getting to bed early instead of scrolling your phone. The goal isn’t to win every day. It’s to stop letting bad days turn into bad weeks. And sometimes, when you’re genuinely exhausted, proper rest IS the win. FORGE ACCOUNTABILITY What’s your bad-day protocol? Pick 2–3 simple things you can commit to even when life gets chaotic. Drop them below, gentlemen. Let’s build some standards we can actually stick to. Never Zero. The Grind Is The Gold.

Get outside is a big one for our family. Take a walk in the woods. If I miss my workout I try and get at least a few sets of pushups done throughout the day. I’d like to start doing burpees rather for a little more full body but it can be clunky in work boots. Lol Similarly, diet is another one for me. If I can avoid the processed and sugar. It’s been a good day.
Make The Right Choice Easier
We talk a lot about discipline, but here’s something worth remembering: You don’t have to make everything harder than it needs to be. Want to train in the morning? Lay your gym clothes out the night before. Trying to eat better? Have your meals prepped and ready to go. Want to save more money? Automate a transfer every payday. Trying to spend less time on your phone? Keep it out of the bedroom. Your environment either supports your goals or works against them. The fewer obstacles between you and the right decision, the more likely you are to follow through. Discipline gets you started. Good systems help keep you consistent. FORGE ACCOUNTABILITY What’s one small change you can make today that will make a good habit easier tomorrow? Drop it below. Your idea might help another brother build a better system.

On the note of sleep and getting up early, it’s obviously best to put your phone away an hour before going to bed but here’s a quick shortcut for iPhone to alleviate the blue light from wrecking circadian rhythm. I also use it first thing in the morning until I'm done my workouts and bible study. Three clicks of the power button and your screen turns red.
Sunday Audit Call Tomorrow!
Men, Tomorrow at 12pm MST, we have our inaugural Sunday Audit meeting for the group. We’ll introduce ourselves, go over wins and losses from the week, and discuss a topic. Shouldn’t take more than 1/2 hr to an hour, and it’s for everyone in the group. Please attend if you can. See you there Titans 💪🏻 Justin
