😬 What's your biggest Etsy regret or mistake?
Mine is that when I first started, about 6 months in, I started to make consistent daily sales and was so excited, but I was also running ads. At the time, my daughter was helping me with the business and she was the organized, math side of it. I came to her to show her how much money we had made that month, to which she said, we actually lost a lot of money.... I was running ads without any follow up, had not learned how to optimize them, so yes, I was making sales, but I had less money in my bank account then when I started— and here's the thing... I was devasted, BUT, I learned so much from it. These days I think like a business woman and know every detail of my business, including the financial side of it. When I stopped treating it like a hobby, and more like a business, everything changed! Your turn. The more honest, the more helpful it is for everyone in this community. 👇
