(2)In order that any such instrument when completed may be enforceable against any person who became a party thereto prior to its completion, it must be filled up within a reasonable time, and strictly in accordance with the authority given. Reasonable time for this purpose is a question of fact. Provided that if any such instrument after completion is negotiated to a holder in due course it shall be valid and effectual for all purposes in his hands, and he may enforce it as if it had been filled up within a reasonable time and strictly in accordance with the authority given. Hi all, I wanted to apologise for my lack of attendance in here for a while and share what I have been up to. My Projects: 🚔I had my car cloned and have had a battle with 16 Speeding/Driving Offence Claims and to date 9 Parking tickets. Solution I used - I created a Template and used AI to send replies and track each project and have requested DVLA give the Car (which has a trust as the registered keeper) a new number plate. I have not de-registered it as I do use it for work. ⚡Utility Company are coming to apparently coming to change our meters to pre-pay in October - which is not happening. Method I used: I have set off the debt with a bond 🏡Mortgage and a Loan: I have set off the debt with a bond and accepted for value. They still send me a balance, which I always reply to with an accepted-for-value notice. I also still send them the normal questions with this notice, which they never answer. 🪪Credit Card 1: I have set off the debt with a bond - the company is arguing so ongoing... Have we all found a way of dealing with PCNs yet? According to my info there are 2 distinctly different parking tickets: Private parking — contract argument is real: - A private operator does need a contract — offer, acceptance, consideration - The driver identity point has genuine force — the operator cannot sue the keeper as driver without the keeper naming the driver (Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 applies, but only to private operators) - Appeals through POPLA and court challenges on these grounds have a track record Local authority parking — entirely different regime: - A Penalty Charge Notice issued by a local authority is not a contract claim — it is a statutory penalty - It is issued to the registered keeper of the vehicle, not to a driver who must be identified - The "no contract" argument does not apply — the obligation arises from statute, not from agreement - The enforcement sequence (PCN → Notice to Owner → Charge Certificate → county court registration → warrant → Notice of Enforcement) is a statutory process, not a civil claim requiring a claimant and a witness

Today I went into my local Metro bank and within 5 minutes they had agreed to send me a new debit card with only my 2 given names on it, ie No title and no surname. To amend the bank account itself would take something akin to a deed poll certificate. It took slightly longer in Nationwide because they did not have the facility in branch to delete my title. They would phone me about this when it was cleared by a more centralised office. It would take a deed poll certificate to amend my bank account, but in the interim they would make a note that my preferred mode of address was simply my 2 given names. A new debit card would be in the post in several days time. 😁
