Riffing on the antler basket (thanks Shawnna for the photos and videos) on Pinterest I scrolled past a basket using a vintage potato masher as a handle. The metal part was woven into the base with the handle sticking up in the center of the basket. It made me want to run to the thrift store. What other found objects could we incorporate into handles? Driftwood Belts Upcycled pieces from clothing? Any more ideas?

Sneak peak of the sun hat. We’re working on creating a sizing guide for custom size hats. Aiming for a small, mediums and large that will fit adults. Would love to do a kids size as well. How cute would that be? 😁

I’ve been on a ribbed basketry kick, lately! I played with making a hen style purse basket and an oriole basket! Now that I have done the Flower Gathering Basket.. I’m realizing I could do my switchback rows in the side of the hen basket and not down the center.. hooray for learning!
