I would also like to see a poll on what platforms people are using to create web sites, content creation, Booking and planning, etc.. Business aspects for those who are just getting started or want to level up their game.

How Do I Get bookings as a New DJ Business
Okay, opened my business website Sunday Night, created a Facebook and Instagram business account. Now, how do I get business? What did you do? I thought about going to the Wedding Shows as a guest and handing out business cards....?
Soundswitch vs Wolfmix
This has been discussed and debated extensively online but wanted to get this groups feedback. I’m looking to purchase one of these. For lighting currently I have a gigbar move+(didn’t like the command center), 8 sheds wireless uplights. And 2 shehds 300w 3n1 mover. Cost is not a major concern but it is nice that Soundswitch is more affordable. I don’t want to fully program my gigs but I could see programming a few tracks for specific drops or creating a first dance scene. I use a MacBook Pro m4 so shouldn’t have any issues running Soundswitch software on my laptop along with dj software. However I do like the all in one no laptop needed of the wolfmix. Just looking for personal opinions. Guessing it’s gonna be split down the middle!

I have 2 options to run lights. My DDJ-FLX10 has a built in DMX out that can create a show based on Phrase analysis in Rekordbox(only works in Rekordbox). But when I saw so many Wedding DJ's using Serato instead(due to reliability and good update history I read) I realized I may need another option. So I purchased the SoundSwitch Control One based on several factors. 1) Ability to manually trigger events like a dramatic Blackout or Blinder with one button 2) Still uses software so even if the control fails I have a backup if the output is working. 3) Has 2 universes built in and included(LightKey is additional purchase) 4) Cost, you can start cheaper by just getting the USB to DMX adapter and running from laptop as well. Adding Lights and programming is fairly easy, If you are a Both Lighting user there are even pre-programmed packages you can purchase or get from other DJ's. If you are a TEMU or AliExpress lighting purchaser, many of the Chinese branded lights are not in the light list, in those cases I have had to use the DMX Channel guide and see if it matches the lookalike products and then use those as the fixture. Works so far.
Content gathering a gigs
I am wanting to capture more content including my mixes and crowd reaction. What camera do you use and accesories?

@Russ Collins why the Insta360 instead of the Osmo360 if I may ask?
Almost to 20 members. Lock in.
3 priorities I’m locked in on 2026. 1. Systems: I’m actively building SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to make sure everything is not centered around my brain or skill set. 2. Communication: Our clients and Staff deserve to be in the know. I’m working on consistent forms of communication to them. 3. Lead Generation: The company thrives when leads are flowing and turning into profit. What are you locked in on this year? Drop a comment.
