Trump links Abraham Accords to Iran deal, says joining should be ‘mandatory’ for 6 Muslim nations, tells Saudis and Qataris to go first
US President Donald Trump ties the emerging Iran deal with the Abraham Accords normalization agreements with Israel and says joining it should be “mandatory” for six Muslim nations, telling Saudi Arabia and Qatar to sign up first. “Negotiations with the Islamic Republic of Iran are proceeding nicely! It will only be a Great Deal for all or, no Deal at all,” Trump writes on Truth Social, reiterating that if no deal is reached it will mean “Back to the Battlefront and shooting, but bigger and stronger than ever before.” During discussions on Saturday with leaders of eight Muslim-majority and Middle Eastern countries, Trump says he stated that “after all the work done by the United States to try and pull this very complex puzzle together, it should be mandatory that all of these Countries, at a minimum, simultaneously, sign onto the Abraham Accords.” He specifies those countries as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, and Jordan, and also lists the UAE and Bahrain while noting they are already members. Trump does not mention Israel whatsoever in the lengthy post. It is not immediately clear whether Trump refers to traditional accession to the Abraham Accords — the US-brokered normalization agreements launched during his first term to establish formal relations with Israel — or envisions a larger political framework built around broader aims. Trump says this expansion “should start with the immediate signing by Saudi Arabia and Qatar, and everybody else should follow suit. If they don’t, they should not be part of this Deal in that it shows bad intention. “It may be possible that one or two have a reason for not doing so, and that will be accepted, but most should be ready, willing, and able to make this Settlement with Iran a far more Historic Event than it would, otherwise, be,” he adds. He says that “numerous” of the leaders he spoke with “would be honored, as soon as our Document is signed, to have the Islamic Republic of Iran as part of the Abraham Accords.” Trump suggested yesterday that Tehran, which is sworn to Israel’s destruction, could “perhaps” join the agreements after a deal is reached.

He's being delusional on that.
The Shah as a check and balance of the people.
Since it seems a constitutional monarchy is one of the more popular options for a post IRGC Iran, I thought what would be a good position for the Shah of Iran (I've used AI to write this) Core Principle - The Shah has no power whatsoever in normal times and remains strictly bound by the Constitution. However, when activated by the people (via something similar to the UK e-Petition), the Shah becomes a direct instrument of the popular will. His decisions in the activated matter cannot be overridden by Parliament. This ensures he truly functions as a tool of the people against a disconnected or corrupt government. Military Allegiance - All branches of the Imperial Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force, etc.) swear a direct personal oath to His Majesty the Shah and his heirs, and through him to the Constitution and the expressed will of the Iranian people. - In normal times: Operational command stays with the elected government. - When the people activate the Shah: He gains temporary, mandate-specific authority over the armed forces to enforce the popular decision. The military must obey the Shah’s lawful commands on that specific issue, even if they contradict government or parliamentary instructions. This military loyalty is the enforcement backbone of the system. People’s Activation Mechanism 1. National Petition — 1.5 million verified signatures (biometric/digital verification). 2. Mandatory Televised Parliamentary Debate (within 30 days). 3. Escalation — Second petition of 500,000 signatures → Binding National Referendum. 4. Activation — If the people approve by simple majority, the Shah must exercise the requested power(s) on that exact issue. Shah’s Activated Powers When activated, the Shah can exercise the following binding powers on the specific issue: - Absolute Veto on any law, policy, or decision related to the triggered matter.→ Parliament cannot override this veto. The only way to overturn it is through another successful popular petition + referendum. - Trigger a Binding National Referendum on the issue (result is final and binding on all branches). - Dissolve Parliament and call fresh elections (can be used only once per activation unless renewed by the people). - Order Independent Investigations (e.g., corruption, electoral fraud) with full powers of enforcement. - Temporary Emergency Measures (up to 90–180 days) to protect constitutional order, including directing the armed forces if necessary.

a few assumptions that researchers tend to take but interesting none the less.

that is absolutely dumb, would they let Ben Shapiro post an article "7 reasons Jesus was a false messiah"? but tbh, Christians don't listen to Jews when they tell them Jesus didn't fulfil the prophecies so why should Mormons listen to other Christian denominations criticism of Joseph Smith?

@Shauna Starcher I do understand why they are lashing out, from what i've been reading LDS is the fastest growing denomination (pretty much doubled since 2000), and this type of political influence movement creates tension. Time and demographics will do their job, at some point they'll have to accept that they can't ignore Mormons. However, switching to Democrats or not voting would be a self own, much like what Conservative voters did to themselves in the UK.

I was not aware of the context in which the song was written.
