@Leeanne Hurren Beautiful!
Spring- ish in North America...
What's on your creative plate in your neck of the woods? I am headed out for a hike, training for a mountain summer trip. I am moving yard furniture, creating space to revamp our back yard, and prepping for gardening. It may sound like grunt work, yet feels pretty dreamy to me to get to create new spaces and beauty. I will also be working at the computer and taking my stacked movement and neurotransmitter refresh breaks. How bout you? What's up in your creative heart today?!

It’s been two days of prepping the garden. Some of the cold tolerant transplants went in, Broccoli Rabe, broccoli, red cabbage, cauliflower. Was below freezing again last night, so I had to cover them all up, hopefully for the last time. Today’s activities were hanging out with the kids at home a little recovering from a little emotional setback and then digging volunteering clover out of the garden with roots that goes 3 feet down!

@David Diga Gene Anything inspiring you or on your docket today or this week?
Prepared for the unexpected
I don’t think you can ever be truly prepared for these moments that happen in life. One thing that is highlighted for me is that you don’t need to go through these moments alone. And the 2nd thing. Don’t wait. Not to tomorrow. Start imperfect. Start messy. But Live now. Book that trip, Start writing that book. Your today could be the best of days that you look back on with fondness in the future. Make today a good one. Love you guys. Thank you for choosing to be here.

Better with company
I just saw a beautiful post from Sandy and Ellie, 84 year-old best friends who travel the world together. Besties out exploring the world together - the post I saw was of them in Iceland, meeting up with locals and experiencing the moment with locals.. 🌎🥰 AMAZON STOREFRONT: Right here, are some series life design goals! I have truly enjoyed the experiences of connecting up with people around the world that I have met online through my business. It is one thing to be a tourist - enjoying tourist spots , but to be able to experience a new location through the eyes of a local. It is incredible. I will never forget crossing the Capillano suspension bridge with my business associates from Singapore and LA, and Vancouver (they were locals). Such fun was had - even though I have a strong dislike for heights. Have you had an experience of being able to experience travel with a local?

I can't remember traveling with a local right now. Though I remember in Cayman Islands visiting multiple times with locals, and visiting with them in their businesses. It was fun to get to know them and the local's favorite places to eat. We wanted local food, and they let us know where to go. Yummm.

@Leeanne Hurren It was a gift. We’d found a deal on flights, and rented a house inexpensively. We had an amazing adventure, sun, climbing sea cliffs, scuba diving with a beach fresh caught lunch. Jerk chicken smoked on the grill. Seeing the largest crab migration across the road every morning! So many wonderful experiences.
Sharing Island vibes
Almost a month later and I am not sure if I am over Fiji time yet. I have enjoyed going through all the rough content that I collected over the first couple of days - still so much to go through.

@Leeanne Hurren Beautiful people, beautiful island. The food was wonderful, we went on several excursions. Hiking up a landmark in waterfall, was very busy and lots of fun. I unique experience, words can’t describe it. And a boat tour of The LuminousLagoon, only two of us went in the water, it was a great ponderous experience. “The Luminous Lagoon in Jamaica glows due to millions of microscopic organisms called dinoflagellatesthat thrive in the shallow, warm, brackish waters where the Martha Brae River meets the Caribbean Sea. These organisms emit a bright blue light through bioluminescencewhen disturbed by movement, such as boats, swimming, or rain.” Oh and The Cayman Islands with their rockclimbing coral cliffs that only have ocean below them. We also did Sting Ray City, which I thought would be awful because of how tourist filled it can be, but turned out to be an amazing experience. There is something very special about Island cultures.
