Happy Monday Syndicate Fam! I hope you all had a great weekend. I had a big weekend full of focus, goal setting, plan making, and a little fun in between. Later today I am going to post up some changes to the Success Syndicate, but first let's get back to our August and Quarterly Goal of making our businesses More Authentic and Visible. This last week, let's take some of what we learned the past 3 weeks and make a plan. If you missed out on any of August's Visibility Posts, I will pull them all together and put them in the classroom tab later. Build Your 30-Day Business Blueprint: A new week means a new strategy inside the LGBTQ Success Syndicate, and this week, we’re focusing on Creating Authentic Monthly Action Plans. You’ve probably heard the old saying: “If you fail to plan, your plan will likely fail.” A goal without an action plan is often just a good intention. Over the next five days, we’re going to build a practical 30-day roadmap for September, around four areas that can move your business forward: Sales. Marketing. Networking. Leadership. The goal is not to cram more onto your calendar. It’s to decide what actually matters, create measurable targets, and connect those targets to specific actions you can realistically complete. Instead of saying: “I want more customers.” Try: “I want three new clients in the next 30 days, so I will contact five prospects each week, follow up with past leads, and make one clear offer every week.” That is the difference between a wish and a plan. Monday Action: Choose Your 30-Day Destination Take 10 minutes today and answer this question: If my business were noticeably stronger 30 days from now, what would have changed? Then identify ONE measurable goal for each category: SALES: What revenue, clients, customers, or memberships do I want? MARKETING: What visibility or content result will I create? NETWORKING: Who do I need to meet, reconnect with, or collaborate with? LEADERSHIP: What habit, system, decision, or responsibility will I improve?

Hey everyone! Well my Seattle trip was a whirlwind, and I made so many connections, got so much positive feedback, have at least 2 new brand ambassadors, and most importantly made some real friends beyond just networking. Part of what I gathered from my meeting there is that a lot of people needed help figuring out how to use AI to build something like LezFindr that has so many moving parts. I was thinking of starting a Google Meets meetup maybe bi-weekly for queer founders that need some help building with AI, and keeping your business going with AI as a tool. My question before I go full Josh on this is I wanted to know if this is something that might also be helpful to those in this group? If I do this, is there something you'd like to see there? I was thinking that each call I could also maybe save like 1 non-sensitive thing I have to do for LezFindr and do it live so everyone could just see the flow that works for me. Totally open to discussions and feedback on this, but I just want to help uplift other creators however I can.

Hello Friends - Today, @Eli Del Rio and @Mike Bennion-Rowe and I had an enjoyable hour of back and forth in support of each other. @Eli Del Rio and I introduced @Mike Bennion-Rowe to the concept of Buc-ee's (https://buc-ees.com) and their competitive advantage of clean restrooms. That lead to a fun conversation (see next post) about the life and experiences of visiting the toilette - just the fun things - we frequently forget about - (no triggers here we hope). Mike mentioned that this week (starting tomorrow) is the famous 3-day Manchester Pride. He will be live streaming the festivities (see first comment for link). Mke also mentioned a film project that requires a little crowd funding to complete - this is a 22 minute movie about a unplanned "meet up" of sorts and during the connection a trigger of a past trauma creates reflection and challenges (see 2nd comment for Mike's summary and informational links. We celebrated the lives of Dolly Parton and Tim Curry - two connections within our communities and two spirits that will be surely missed. I have volunteered to share a tribute to Tim by posting a karoke of me singing. This week, we’ve been turning goals into a real 30-day business plan. Monday: We chose our 30-day outcomes. Tuesday: We turned those goals into weekly actions. Wednesday: We put those actions onto the calendar. Today, we focus on the part most plans forget: Accountability. Even the best action plan will hit obstacles. A client emergency comes up. You miss a posting day. A sales call gets rescheduled. Life happens. The goal is not to create a perfect plan. The goal is to create a plan you can review, adjust, and keep moving forward with. Build a simple weekly check-in around four questions: 1. What did I complete? Celebrate progress before focusing on what was missed. 2. What did I avoid or postpone? Be specific. Was the action unrealistic, unclear, uncomfortable, or simply forgotten? 3. What is working? Which activities are creating conversations, leads, visibility, revenue, or stronger systems? 4. What needs to change next week? Adjust the plan without abandoning the goal. Thursday Action: Schedule Your Weekly Review Choose a recurring 15–30 minute block every week for the next 30 days. Use that time to review your Sales, Marketing, Networking, and Leadership actions and decide: KEEP IT. CHANGE IT. DROP IT. ADD IT.
