Hey Success Syndicate Family. I hope you are all having a great week so far. It's been a busy and productive week for me inside and outside the Skool platform. There is a lot of exciting things coming to the Syndicate in March and I just wanted to keep you updated. Next week will be our "COMMUNITY RE-ENGAGEMENT RESET WEEK" Our Theme: “Back In The Room.” Each day I hope you will pop in to the Syndicate and connect with another member or comment on someone's post. We'll be doing a new-member drive on LinkedIn and offering a FREE PREMIUM TIER UPGRADE in March, to the first 30 people that become members so we can welcome our 100th Member! Be sure to reach out to friends and associates who might benefit from the group. Remember our goal is to help each other learn to be better Entrepreneurs through community connections, giving referrals, offering advice and asking for help from other Members. Starting Next Week, we will be having 2 LIVE Video Chats a week for an hour. On Mondays at 3-4pm Eastern Time and on Thursdays at 10-11am Eastern Time. Each will be led by a Syndicate Member , offering their expertise on a topic that will be announced ahead of time, followed by time for questions and visiting. Volunteers so far offering to lead are @Shanti Gold @Richard Jones @Danielle Morris. If you would like to lead a chat and talk about your business and area of expertise, please reach out and DM me. I will announce in the Sunday Newsletters our Guest Speakers for each week. If you haven't popped in the community this week, we are doing a "5 Day Authority Acceleration Sprint," with tips each day on how to make yourself an authority in your field when reaching out for new clients, product buyers, or content consumers. Good Morning Syndicate Fam, Happy Friday, we made it through the week. Let's start by welcoming our newest member @Robert Bu in the Connecticut/NYC area. Robert brings 40+ years in the Corporate sector, always out and proud. He will bring leadership skills, mentoring, and many other more tangible assets. He is hoping to grow his network out of the confines of Linked In. Give him a warm welcome. On Fridays let's share our wins for the week, either professionally or personally or both. We need to celebrate each other and wins big or small that move us forward in our businesses and lives. Hey friends, if you didn’t see in an earlier post, I’m doing 365 daily motivational, inspirational, or just plain fun thoughts I’m having and will hopefully turn them into a book next year. I’ve been doing ‘Love Month’ posts for February, and today I wrote about love and work, so thought I’d share here. Hope you enjoy. You can follow the posts each day on my LinkedIn or our instagram. You can love your work… and still need boundaries with it. Passion is beautiful, until it quietly turns into pressure. A lot of us in the LGBTQ community built our careers, side hustles, art, and businesses from survival and self-expression. We weren’t just making money, we were making space for ourselves. So of course it matters. Of course you care. Of course you pour your whole heart into it. But love without limits becomes exhaustion. When everything depends on you, it’s easy to start measuring your worth by productivity. The inbox never ends. The ideas never stop. The “just one more thing” becomes midnight. Here’s the truth: Burnout doesn’t come from working hard. It comes from never feeling allowed to stop. Loving what you do should feel energizing more often than draining. That means protecting it: Close the laptop before resentment starts. Schedule rest like it’s important, because it is. Create without always performing. Your job or business is part of your life, not the proof of your value. If you want to stay in love with your work, you have to give it room to miss you. Build a life your work fits inside. I posted over on LinkedIn, that Today begins a Lunar New Year, the Year of the Horse! I love Mythology and Symbolism, and some Magical Woo-Woo. This is a special year. It's a rare Fire Horse year (occurring every 60 years), it signifies a period of high energy, independence, and significant change. Sounds like something right up the Success Syndicate's Alley!! We are growing again with our newest member @Eli Del Rio an amazing Trans advocate working on building a safe and productive community in the Transgender Space. He reminds me that I also want to share with you my friend's TedX Talk he did on "Sex = Gender = Sexuality," back in 2013. It is really what was able to flip my own switch to understanding our community better. Scott was the first transgender man to have a recurring role on a daytime soap opera, (The Bold and The Beatiful).
