January is National Hobby Month
Which means we get to talk about our favorite topic. At HobbyScool, we believe hobbies are more than pastimes — they’re powerful tools for creativity, clarity, and confidence. Some people use their hobbies to relax. Some to express themselves. Some to build businesses. All are valid. All matter. So I’m curious:What hobby has made the biggest impact on your life — creatively, emotionally, or even financially? Drop it in the comments 👇You might inspire someone else to finally start theirs.

@Laurie Hanscom-harmon You're right! I don't think writing is necessarily considered a hobby to most. I don't think of any of my creative passions as hobbies, actually, so maybe that is why it was my first thought. 🤣 I spend my days in the midst of writing, scrapbooking/memory keeping, family history/genealogy, painting, mixed media artwork, quilting, and very amateur photography, etc....so my multi-passionate creative life is all thrown together as my creativity. ❤️
✨ Speaker Radiant Welcome & Thank You! ✨
A heartfelt thank you to each of you who tuned into my presentation today. I’m so grateful we were able to get the audio hiccup resolved, and I truly pray this summit experience met you right where you are in this season. My hope is that it served as a radiant, peace-filled beginning to your new year—grounded in prayer, clarity, and creative calm. On a personal note, I’m just now catching up myself after caring for our sick baby and doing my best to still celebrate my husband’s birthday today (yes—today! 🎉) as we all recover from what’s been going around. Life has a way of reminding us to hold plans gently, doesn’t it? And yet, there is still so much to be thankful for. I wanted to pop in here to say hello, connect further, and let you know I’d love to answer any questions you have—from prayer boards, journaling, or planning, to how to build a gentle system you’ll actually return to. 💝 A Gift for You: As shared in the presentation, I’ve created a >>free Prayer Board Vision Checklist<< to help you put what we talked about into action with clarity and confidence. It’s a simple, faith-filled companion to help you pray your vision, focus your plans, and begin creating right away. 👉 Be sure to grab the freebie linked in the presentation resources if you haven’t yet. 🌸 If you’re craving ongoing support: I’d also love to invite you to continue the journey inside the Radiant Pearl Circle, where we walk this out together with intentional planning rhythms, encouragement, and access to our Lion Of Judah Journaling Collection and updated Radiant Pearl Dream Life Digital Planner—created to help you plan with peace and preserve what God is doing in your life. Thank you again for being here and for showing up for this creative, faith-filled reset. I truly hope we get to connect more inside this community and beyond. Wishing each of you grace, healing, and a beautifully intentional year ahead. ❤️

Hi @Stacy Zant ! I'm a bit delayed on commenting after having watched your presentation. I absolutely loved it! This was my first introduction to you and I am so grateful! I have never created a prayer board so I look forward to doing so! Also, I truly loved "Step 4" noting that our memory keeping and preserving our story is our testimony to God's goodness in our lives. Thank you! May you and your family recover quickly and have be fully restored to health! Blessings to you!
Love these for easy journaling!
Thanks to Kristin Tweedale @rukristin for these Currently cards and the great ideas for simple memory keeping in our journals! Here is my page using washi tape for the background. :)

@Neith J Hi! I'm so happy you are able to use washi without a reaction to it! 🎉🥳 I love your page! I had no idea that latex allergy would be related to adhesives and so many crafting supplies. 😭 And stickers... 😭😭😭 Here's hoping you have many joyful, creative experiences ahead with washi!

@Neith J Thank you for sharing your experience. This is very interesting. I truly appreciate you educating me because I had absolutely no idea. (((Hugs))) to you.
Thanks to Amanda Trought!
I loved Amanda's session! It's been a long while since I have watched her YouTube videos (my fault), but as soon as I saw her, her light just brought me joy! She has such wonderful energy that flows through her creative work and her words! This is a fun way to make envelopes! I enjoyed the different ways shown to utilize the card inserts for these. I cannot wait to make these envelopes in different sizes for my journal as well! Thank you, Amanda! P.S. There was one full-page envelope on a page as you flipped through an art journal...I'm curious if that was a large version of this or another envelope technique you might have in one of your YouTube videos? Here is the start of mine. I have to finish my cards and get this attached in my journal. :)
Thanks to Amanda Trought!
