Day 3: Composition & Planning
🌲 You made it to Day 3—beautiful work showing up for yourself ✨ And a huge thank you to @Alina Snepste of Creative Feel Designs for hosting this challenge with us! Today we’re bringing everything together with a longer quote: “I took a walk in the woods and came out taller than the trees” — Thoreau In today’s video, Alina walks you through how to: • Plan your layout • Use bounce and spacing intentionally • Turn your lettering into a cohesive, flowing composition This is where rhythm, spacing, and expression come together—gently and thoughtfully. 📌 You can find the full Day 3 lesson (and the entire challenge replay) inside the Skool Classroom anytime. 💬 Final reflection: What part of the process helped you most during this challenge—bounce, spacing, or planning? If you’d like, share your finished piece or one takeaway from the past three days. Thank you for creating alongside us 🌿✨

Day 2: Spacing & Rhythm
Welcome to Day 2 with @Alina Snepste 🤩 Today we’re exploring spacing and how it changes the rhythm and feeling of your lettering. We’ll be lettering this beautiful quote: “All good things are wild and free” — Henry David Thoreau ✨ Your challenge today: Letter the quote twice: • Once with narrow, condensed spacing • Once with open, airy spacing This side-by-side practice helps you feel how spacing and bounce work together—especially in longer phrases. 📌 Day 2 is also saved inside the Skool Classroom, ready whenever you want to practice again. 💬 Reflect + share: Which version felt more natural to you? Did the spacing change the mood of the quote? Post your work or your thoughts below—we’d love to see how you explored today’s prompt 💛

@Tina Petriella You’re doing great. The “right” utensil helps, but it’s not required to begin. Keep going with what you have for now, and you can always upgrade later. So glad you’re giving it a try. ☺️ We’d love to see what you create!

January is National Hobby Month
Which means we get to talk about our favorite topic. At HobbyScool, we believe hobbies are more than pastimes — they’re powerful tools for creativity, clarity, and confidence. Some people use their hobbies to relax. Some to express themselves. Some to build businesses. All are valid. All matter. So I’m curious:What hobby has made the biggest impact on your life — creatively, emotionally, or even financially? Drop it in the comments 👇You might inspire someone else to finally start theirs.

Newbie.
Hello fellow crafters. My name is Julie Rose and I am currently researching the return to work. I was recently bereaved and then lost my mother at Christmas. I do lots of crafts and enjoy walking my 2 dogs.
