@Tyler Blohm are sunflower just naturally tougher? Also I soaked the sunflower 48 hrs and still had problems with them cracking open. I had to help some of them
We have storm damage this year. We have a bridge to cross over a winter run of creek and this year on December 20th our house flooded. It’s the first time in over 100 years our area flooded as bad as it did. We had 12 inches of water at its highest level inside the house. It started receding and about 8 inches stayed in the house for around 30 minutes. We evacuated and stayed with family overnight because I had to be in Medford, Oregon for a medical procedure the next morning. We ended up staying with family until 27 December. My husband has cut walls and removed insulation throughout the house and we’re now living in the house again. But we are currently remodeling the house while living in it. So it’s like living in a mess at all times however, we praise God every single day that we did not lose our house!! And the things that you would’ve thought we should’ve lost again we praise God every single day because we haven’t had to replace our range, our gas dryer, our gas water heater, our gas generator, and the list goes on! Jesus was definitely watching out for us that day. We know how blessed we are and how much worse it could have been. We’ve had some set backs because of it. We had hoped to have the outside yard all cleaned up by now but my husband’s job has taken him out of town for several weeks so cleaning up and remodeling has been a slow process. However this is the verse that has been prayed over me almost my entire life Jeremiah 29:11 and it’s what we hold onto 🙏🏻
Well in the past 8 years we’ve had the Carr Fire, Camp Fire & Ponderosa Fire each of them have destroyed towns wiped off the map. This year the floods. Our area where we are we haven’t had a fire yet. I pray we don’t experience one. Philippians 4:13 let’s me know we don’t have to do it alone. I do believe it’s a lot to do with government, weather modification and them trying to play God with our climate. If you look back through history and I’m talking 100, 200, 500, and so on in years these patterns have happened before just not as drastic in our lifetime or our parents lifetime. The amount of water on Earth never changes per God’s promises. So climate change is natural ice melting is normal it’s just that we’re seeing it in our lifetime. Just my 2 cents worth.
@Tyler Blohm it’s been a big swing over the past couple of fall-springs. Once summer hits we will probably drop to a low of 70-80 at night at the lowest from June - August and in July run most every day from 108-117 We might be trying a couple of different ideas for planting this year… tower and a new type of raised garden where you bury a bunch of broken up trees and bark then plant around it and on top which will help hold a lot of water. For around here we need all the help we can get due to the heat.
@Tyler Blohm I just looked at my order that’s on its way and I did order the moringa, fenugreek & protein mix. I forgot it was available when I placed an order a week ago. Now I just need to get this growing down and add popcorn, red cabbage, kale & cilantro
