Sunflower- mold
I plucked the mold from the sunflower trays. Is this from the 90+ degree whether? Should I move it inside to cooler temp

That sunflower tray looks good to me. Sunflowers do get a little mold notoriously. But they grow through it and it goes away on its own. @Michael Davison is right about baking soda and lemon juice. But peroxide works in a pinch. However. Based on what I’m seeing.. grow through it and just harvest a lil higher above grade of the tray 👨🏼‍🌾👍🏼
How hot is too hot for Microgreens?
I live near Las Vegas - and have a detached garage that provides shade - but it is HOT - would that be a possible place to setup my greens?

@Matthew Bornac 12k btu mini split should only need a regular 110v hookup. I used to install them. They would work PERFECT for your situation. Could turn that garage into a a good forest

@Michael Davison it’s a worthy investment. Guy like you will prolly know half of it already but it’s nice to have an organized reference do all the organization for you.
It’s Hot!!
Not greens related but thought I’d share my temporary solution to help my ladies (bees) make through this how spell.

Umbrella to the rescue. Idk about you, but I’ve been seeing bees this year far and few between. And they look very haggard🫩. It’s so odd💭🤔

@Kiana Wright good job on leaving that slit along the 10x20 tray 👍🏼 that will help the tray breathe while still blacking out. Eliminating mold 👨🏼‍🌾
