Picking this one back up.
Had to let my ears rest from this one. Will pick this one back up to finish. Have to work on turnarounds, and transitions and maybe add a top layer for the bass to add some movement. What else do you think could do some work? Mix? Anything poking out a bit too much on your system? Reflection is What's Impotant

Naaaaasty work on the drums. I would say heighten that mid range on the instruments a little, and then perhaps some sort of focused lead or moment where shit breaks down ( I can’t hear the bass on my phone perhaps that has a lot of movement and is leading. ) It seems like you could shorten this to half the length or so or maybe just adding more stuff to make that 6mins more diverse but super cool sound
A first slice of music
https://on.soundcloud.com/oAoRcVGDB4aCWVMo9 This is a song of mine, called El Coto de Baron, from the start of this year. The inspiration comes from cinematic funk and downtempo music and wanting to explore a mystical groovy musical space. I wanted to write within the limitations of being able to take the piece to a live band of 4-5 people. I consider it in demo stage as I still hope to develop it with a couple of friends in a live setting (but really it helps me get by my perfectionism and share something "not really done"). In the process of this track I learned a bit about the workings of creative limitations. It was helpful to consider the limits of how many musicians can play this piece (without backing tracks). The other side of the coin is that the limitations also comes with challenges. This time it was really challenging to find a musical narrative, as well as to let things be and catch me in the urge of adding more sounds and instruments. Thanks for letting me share this! What do you think about it? 🌟

Super cool, the first minute or so reminds me of that Netflix show Narcos , and then the groove afterwards was smooth.
1 project 500+ hours over 2 years
I’m not fully satisfied with how all the mixes turned out, but if I’m fully honest, completely burnt out on putting any more effort into this project. Could be up to a 1000 hours into this honestly, a ton of stuff I didn’t put in . So much fun to just mess around and be creative, just trying to make something that sounds cool is a way I love to relieve stress. https://on.soundcloud.com/H8cXF6e2Zk8Nz4Ly8

@Emanuel Drapała sorry, but yeah. I’m not sure I’d be allowed to upload something this length to Spotify , + has a few samples in it. Maybe could do YouTube though, or send you a wav file if interested!

@David Vannucci That was a goal of mine, thank you for listening and giving it some of your time. 🙏
What is the most technical song you can think of
I really love technical music. Aphex Twin, different classical composers, Jazz, trap stuff. For example, I listened to this song probably 7 years ago or so, and I remember my jaw just dropping. I randomly tapped into that memory and had a craving for it earlier this year. It took me months to find it again soooo much mental digging , but ahh, so worth the search. https://open.spotify.com/track/3bmQGRkwxl9FGasMI7BcvH?si=fKc0-DVSTOiKXBcjlBxJKQ
howdy’
Hello everyone. I’ve been making music for at least 8 or so years now. Used to play the violin when I was younger. Grew up with a Dad that played guitar in different bands. Always loved sound and began producing my own stuff a while back. My favorite is ambient! I use FL Studio to make my stuff :)
