Hello Aron and welcome! What a beautiful country you get to call home. I was there traveling for a few months almost ten years ago and I still miss it! What music are you listening to at the moment? :)

@Aron Lampin Sounds nice! Haven't heard them, but will definitely take a listen :) Two of the bands I've been listening to recently is Glass Beams and Keshavara. Really like the psychedelic funk vibes they both create.
What makes you loose yourself in a dance track?
I like to reflect on what makes my heart and soul vibrate in a dancey track. Why does this one track grab a hold of me, while this other doesn't? While there are obviously a plethora of variables affecting us uniquely, I find it both fun and valuable to identify the attributes of a track that really gets my spirits up. For me, one of the recurring attributes is narrative. I love when I'm taken on a journey through a track, dancing along with it. The narrative aspect seems, for me, to come from the interplay of melodies and dynamics creating a narrative arc in the track. A track can be super groovy with interesting sounds and atmosphere, but if the narrative journey isn't there I don't seem to loose myself in the music in the same way. At least that's my current theory💫 I'm curious to know, do you experience narrative in dance music? What is it in a dance track that makes you loose yourself to the flow of music and movement? 💃

@Yúlany Music Oh, there's so many nuances of dance music. Mindset work
Hey, sweet people! Are you working with your mindset somehow? To keep yourself on more healthy road? Meditations? Yoga? Workouts? Walking? Or maybe creativity and music? What helps you not to go crazy these crazy days?

Great question and lots of interesting tips and perspectives in the thread already. Apart from whats been mentioned already, I want to emphasize journaling (either written or verbal i.e. talking aloud for and by yourself. I like doing it in a ceremonial way, sitting down and lighting a candle). Another really valuable thing for mindset is good ol' conversations. Asking questions, listening, pondering together - love it :)

Music and life, it seems they keep sticking together for me. Instrumentalist with a steadily growing itch to write and share music with the world.
