How do you keep up without living in the feed?
Real question from a coach building a business: I want to stay connected here without spending the whole day commenting. I’m considering a simple limit: answer replies, contribute to two conversations where I have something useful to add, then get back to the work. For those balancing clients and community, what helps you stay consistent without turning engagement into another full-time job?
Where to start?
I’m trying to kick off a restaurant consultation business where I help venues with food costs and kitchen operations. I’m struggle with juggling everything myself from lead gen, to sales call and delivery so some tips on how to get that moving would be helpful.

Darren, I’d narrow the first offer to one kitchen problem, like food waste, with a clear scope. Then reuse the same discovery questions and delivery checklist. Which part is eating most of your time right now?
Howdy everyone!
I’m Soc from the Philippines. I’ve been doing customer support and VA work for 10+ years, mostly supporting online businesses with customer service, admin, ecommerce, and community stuff. Right now, I’m trying to be more intentional about building my own freelance business instead of just jumping from one client/task to another. 😅 I think my biggest struggle right now is balancing everything.. things like: client work, learning new skills and trying to actually build something for myself too. I joined this community because I’d love to learn how other one-person businesses are figuring things out especially when you’re basically doing everything yourself. Excited to learn from everyone and hopefully be able to help out here too!

Soc, that jump from doing the work to building your own thing is real. Which problem do clients keep trusting you to solve? That could be the starting point for one focused offer.
Welcome to The One-Person Business! Read This First! 🎉
Awesome to have you here! 💪 Here are a few things to do first: 1. Introduce yourself Drop a quick post in the community. Keep it simple: → Where you’re from → What your business is → What you’re currently struggling with in your business 2. This post explains what is inside this community: https://www.skool.com/one-person-business/classroom/353473d0?md=f4adb442f6fd46de92bbc001ae4c6760 3. Keep the group clean I know we all want to sell our stuff, I get it, but the best way to do that on this whole Skool platform is to just help other people. When you do that, people will check out your profile and find your services through there, so put your time into being helpful and into making your Skool profile good. And then instead of pitching, just show what you're working on. Share your real workflows and how you're doing things, post your examples and screenshots, ask real questions and be specific about what you need help with and if you can help someone else, jump in and help them. 4. Be positive and helpful Most of us are building our businesses mostly on our own, so let's keep things supportive. Share wins, struggles, ideas, and anything that might help others. Thanks for joining. Let's build our one-person businesses in a way that feels good and still gives us time for our families, friends, and normal life 🥳

What 30 Daily YouTube Videos Did for My Skool Sales - EP 56
I posted one video every day for 30 days on my second YouTube channel and tried to drive that traffic to my Skool community. In this episode I show what happened. The subscriber growth, the watch time and what it did for sales. Youtube link: https://youtu.be/0UrwF5M4xJA?views
