Buffing
What is the best product to use for buffing to bring color back? Also, which brand of pads is your go to?

For color restoration, Menzerna and 3D compounds are hard to beat. For pads, Lake Country HDO or Rupes foam pads are solid go to's depending on your machine.

Logo & brand identity design
Hey everyone! 👋 I've been following this community for a while and I love the passion everyone here has for aircraft detailing — truly a craft that deserves premium presentation. I work with detailing businesses to help them look as professional online as they are in person. Whether you're a solo operator or running a full crew, I can help you with: ✅ Logo & brand identity design ✅ Professional website that gets you clients ✅ Social media graphics & content ✅ Business cards & print materials A lot of detailers lose potential clients simply because their online presence doesn't match the quality of their work. Let's fix that. Drop a comment or DM me if you'd like to see some examples of my work — happy to share my portfolio

Here is our invoiced value for April.
This is our best month yet. And for reference, I did all of this while having my 7 month old with me, mostly on the weekends. I’m showing this because I believe it’s important to be transparent and also because I want to look back and see my journey as well. Here are some things I learned in the Month of April, 2026: - I really need to hire a lead Detailer 🥲 - Business picks up wayyyyyy faster than I would have thought - My personal weaknesses can extremely hold the business back - Sometimes you have to say no certain clients, and that’s okay. I’m really hoping to get started on the course so I can teach yall how to do this, I’m just so darn busy😭 It’s coming, I promise! In the meantime please feel free To drop any questions you might have in the community, and come to our lives every Monday at 10am EST!

Types of Aircraft Materials
Aircraft have three primary MAIN materials you’llbe working with. 1. Aluminum. This AirCam (pictured below) the main body (also known as the fuselage) is painted aluminum. This is the most common, you’ll see this all the time. 2. Carbon Fiber. The floats on this aircraft are made from carbon fiber. This is also what Cirrus and Diamond aircraft are made of. You can use most of the same methods that you use on aluminum, but there is one big one you can’t do. No ceramic coating carbon fiber aircraft. It will cause static dissipation issues and also void the owners warranty if it’s active. 3. Fabric. You see this one occasionally, and it’s the most challenging to work with. Everything on fabric must be done by hand. There are very specialized products for it. It’s also it very challenging to get streaks out of and tends to be very dry so it needs much more wax than the other two materials. You don’t usually see all three in one aircraft but you do on an AirCam! I’m looking to generate some more helpful content for you guys, just let me know what you’re looking for!
