Tips for getting a 5 on AP Physics 1
Hello everyone, my name is Taha Haque. I am currently a junior in high school living in a rural area of Washington. For the past year, I've been taking AP Physics...and it hasn't been going great. I have not been scoring high enough to get a 5 (I've been quite far off). The exam is on May 16th, so I would really appreciate some tips and tricks that could work on gaining this preferred score. For reference, I have 2 practice books (ie Barrons and 5 steps to a 5) and use Khan Academy. Thanks, and I wish you a good one :D (ps. anyone have any tips for aerospace research over the summer)

Personally, use MHE Benchprep from the code you got in 5 to a 5 https://mhprofessional.benchprep.com/ and the practice tests they give you in Barron's https://www.barronseduc.com/. My friend got a 4 last year and used mainly Barron's. Also, try using https://chat.qwen.ai/ and https://chat.deepseek.com/, they're very accurate with their solutions and have helped me a lot in my studying by explaining stuff, more so than ChatGPT. Though I'm going to be studying right there with you so I'll be writing notes that I'll add at https://www.playbook.com/s/shagunb/ap

@Taha Haque anything that suits you until you're able to do the questions without looking at the solutions and at least one formative (timed)

How to find internships at big companies or startups?
Hi everyone, I'm a high school junior currently studying in Canada. I'm hoping to do a short-term internship at local companies. And I'm planning to cold email some start-ups or stem related companies. Does anyone know how to find local start-ups or potential companies to work with? I'm not looking to email big companies like Google or Microsoft since the chance of getting a reply is probably really low. Any suggestions on this will be helpful and greatly appreciated <3

first: connections from parents second: using the experience to cold email like rishab says third: build a resume and apply/cold email professionally, it gets easier the easiest way is to ask your parents who they know. not only the easiest, but the best. dont assume you have no connections, parents are underrated if that doesn't work, as your parents close friends who they know. if that doesnt, look at local places through google. "clinic near me" and cold email.
