Just for fun - I challenge you
I was challenged to ask Chat to create an image to illustrate how I made him feel. Hope I make everyone feel this comfortable & loved 😊🩷🤣

Not sure why Chat thinks I'm a teenage girl but looks similar to the girl in Elnize's pic too. Oh, and the caption - "Cozy night with a friendly AI". I guess I must ask most of my questions after hours.
👉 Are you currently using any AI automations to streamline parts of your workflow?
If so, what are they doing for you? And if not, what's one repetitive task you wish could be automated? You don’t need to overthink it. Just describe a process that’s time-consuming, boring, or frustrating… and let’s see if we can help you build something. 💬 Drop your thoughts in the comments below. Bonus: I’ll pick one of the suggestions and create a custom automation example for it! Need ideas to spark your thinking? Here are a few things you might want to automate: Recapping client meetings Creating first drafts of proposal emails Extracting expense invoices from emails Weekly KPI summaries from spreadsheets Chasing clients for missing info Let’s crowdsource the best automation ideas accountants need—and I’ll help turn them into step-by-step solutions 🚀

I would like to but need time for setup and likely vendor access into their API from what I understand. We use CCH Axcess Workflow (formerly XCM) to manage tasks throughout the office. Each month, a new group of year end engagements pop up onto our managers workflow list. Rather than reach out individually, we are looking to start automating the process to have AI pull a report of the engagements for each manager, draft an email to the client and have to ready for the manager to edit (specific requests change by client). CCH seems willing to provide some type of access to their API for us to connect through but I'm concerned about the cost. Everything is pricy with them! If anyone has setup something like this, I would love to hear about it!
🎯 Fill in the Blank: “AI Has Helped Me ______”
Let’s hear how AI is actually helping us in the real world. Finish this sentence: 👉 “AI has helped me ______.” Could be serious. Could be silly. Could be both. 👇 Add your answer in the comments... and read a few others while you’re there. Let’s get inspired.

@Mark Wickersham Japan was amazing. 2 weeks 5 cities and it was just a taste… can’t wait to go back and explore some more.

@Mark Wickersham it’s definitely on the list. Almost made it 2 years ago and it could happen this summer. We have a wedding in London in August, no desire to stay in London for very long so Portugal is certainly an option. Will keep you posted!

@Mark Wickersham looks like a great example of a mindmap that I end up creating with clients in planning sessions (except mine is all one colour 😀)

@Mark Wickersham I have not had an opportunity to do this yet but it is on my list to work through the next time I have a client meeting where we do this. Great point about colour. I will have to try that! Appreciate the help as always.
Intuit just signed a $100M deal with OpenAI… here's why that matters for accountants
Big news: Intuit (the company behind QuickBooks, TurboTax, and Mailchimp) has partnered with OpenAI to deeply integrate AI into their product ecosystem. This means apps like QuickBooks will soon be able to connect directly to ChatGPT. So, what does that mean for us in the accounting space? 🧠 AI-powered workflows are about to get much more practical inside tools we already use 💬 Client conversations, forecasting, and compliance could soon include real-time GPT guidance 💻 ChatGPT connectors to QuickBooks may reshape how we do reconciliations, reports, and insights 💡 Opportunity for firms who understand AI first—before clients do it themselves And one big thought: If this becomes mainstream, how will your firm differentiate itself? I’d love to know… 👉 Are you using any GPT integrations or AI tools inside accounting platforms yet? 👉 How do you see this shift impacting your work? Drop your thoughts in the comments 👇 (And if you want to read more, here’s the original article: TechCrunch link)

Looks like it might be time to add more tools to the kit. We are a Co-Pilot firm based on too many things to get into here. At the very least our Bookkeeping Team might need ChatGPT accounts as well. We have a team member who has created an agent to pull year end reports from QBO for year end work. The ChatGPT integration should make that easier.
