I know they only made this in a half-ton frame. Could a cummins drivetrain be swapped in with the right diff and motor/trans mounts? Or would you need a chopped 3/4 ton frame?
@Addison Wood Thanks, I haven’t pulled the trigger yet, but these little halfton shorties for cheap. Sounds like either way, I will need a donor truck, not just a motor/ecm.
Just reloading my ammo, I have only cleaned brass using walnut or corn cob media with case lube. I prefered the walnut because it was a little less dusty. It won’t hurt anything since it isn’t very aggressive. I know they make some kind of resin media for rusty parts. Never used it though. Hope that helps.
Need to change cam gear. I don’t have a dedicated tool for this. I got the axle puller as true as possible. If I apply a little heat, do I risk doing any damage to the gear/cam?
