I love hearing accents from different places around the world, but…
I love being from the Deep South, but there is some truth here…😊

Passionate Voice Actors
There’s a new upcoming indie game that looks kinda like Mickey Mouse just met Doom or LA Noire. I’m very impressed with the amount of passion these people have for their craft. Definitely recommend giving this a listen 👂 https://youtu.be/WMiyuijF2rs?si=q0p2QUTth68BvQAt

Welcome, Mike!
Say hello to @Mike Selig ! He joined us last night on our call and had some great questions. He’s a soon to be retired plumber/business who is extremely motivated about getting into voiceover , and his can-do attitude is motivating ! Monday evening we’ll be going over Fiverr profiles starting with @Wesley Bryan , and answering other Fiverr (and freelance site questions) so be sure to pop in and say hello and introduce yourself to Mike

Balancing VO with life
I'm going to college this fall (yay!). It's an exciting time for me and my family. However, there are things I want to try to keep up with doing while I'm doing college. The problem is, my freshman year (and honestly, it could also apply for the years after) is going to be pretty busy and I'm unsure how much time I'll have for other things in my free time, including voice acting. I want to get a Youtube channel up and running soon, but even if I managed to get that up and did a little in the summer I may need to stop posting while I'm in school. Anyone have any tips for figuring this out? Should I make a list of priorities and cut off the not so important stuff? And does anyone have suggestions as far as doing stuff now instead of waiting till later go (I'm a SUPER bad procrastinator and need to figure out how to be more productive)?

As someone who finished college a year ago, I can say it’s beneficial to give yourself little rewards for accomplishing tasks. In my last couple semesters I didn’t really do that and it caused a lot of unnecessary stress and pain. So please take care of yourself and don’t let anyone tell you that you’re not capable of doing both college and voice acting. Realize the connections between voice acting and other things in your life. I enjoy racket sports and now I realize dancing lessons help with my footwork for that. It makes life easier and much more exciting than believing everything is random stuff. God made you for a specific purpose and you’re just in a stage of your life where you’re figuring that out. Keep being kind to yourself and others around you and I bet opportunities will come in their own good time. Effort matters but also don’t force it to occur. That’s all I’ve got 😎🙌
“He is risen”
My friend MacDonald NKemda is a voice actor from Cameroon and recorded this narration awhile back. What a voice!
