Whoa!
Just read something interesting. When people go to Home Depot to buy a drillbit, they don’t actually want to buy a drillbit. They want to buy the hole in the wall. But even further than that, they might want to buy satisfaction of doing it themselves, or the admiration from their spouse after getting it done, or peace of mind after cleaning up and having a shelf hung on the wall. What does your client want to buy and are you speaking to that want?

This is a brilliant idea that definitely helps get me towards the place of imagining what kind of marketing would be good for me. One of the areas that feels a bit like a wall for me in this process is that I feel like I have a broad range of people I’d like to help and see. If I wanted to get myself in a niche I feel like it would be easier to describe something in marketing but I personally think it would end up getting boring if I only saw one type of client. If anyone else has ever struggled with this or has some good ideas or questions to help me with a perspective shift, I’d love to hear it!

A Recent Win!
Hi all, I gave a free 2 hour psycho ed class today from 4-6pm at a local church. It was a good experience for me, and the people received it well. 🙏🏻 Please share a win, no matter how small so that we can celebrate it with you!

I have a second interview at a private practice site in 2 weeks. So as long as the split looks good then I will have my site and supervisor!
