A blast from the past…
Been collecting dust almost 17 years now. My digitech whammy pedal for some 20 pitch octave shifts and weird harmonies I could never really apply. Will be fun to experiment with. Out of this world sounds. They have the whammy 5 version now apparently.

wooow that sounds like such a cool piece of sound design gear @Joe Cabrera ! have you tried recording something with it? I feel like these things bring so many opportunities with them that it’s sometimes hard to find the one thing that adds perfectly to the song. but I’d love to hear it and if you’d manage to make it part of your sound that would be increadible and pretty distinct! 🦦

what's "release friday"?
pretty simple: I thought, since most of us release music on fridays, under this category we can drop all new releases, and I'll add them to my guitarwave playlist (which rn is only electric guitar … maybe I should start a new one for both/all) 🦦

@Jens Mahla wow Jens, what a smooth hitting thing this is! you really created a beautiful moment and buildup there. also such tasteful sound selection. happy release to this beauty :) and would you post it again under the release post I’ll make for this Friday? this way we have all weekly releases always collected under one specific post 🦦
Anyone like cool tabs guitar tabs?
Hello all!! I know Guitarwavers here would appreciate this. I plan on working on my clean guitar technique Stevie Ray style. Probably my fav guitarist of all especially the tone he gets on Tin Pan alley. So much to learn from this songs dynamics and articulation of notes. Its like a right of passage I could never master and to others comes so effortlessly!. I read an interview with Eric Clapton who admitted didn't play for months after seeing Stevie perform. He said he knew he’d never be that good so what’ the use lol! If anyone likes tabs message me. I have a collection of guitar world maga from the 90’s. As well as Joe Satriani, and Tom Petty official tabs.

thank you for bringing stevie ray up @Joe Cabrera ! it's crazy to listen to him! tbh I didn't know him before. so really cool to get new inspirations here. I must admit that I've never been striving for excellence with my guitar playing. I'm just too impatient to practice that much and I get too much fun out of recording simple layers and with the help of multiplying myself building me a world to float it. that's also why I never really learned or enjoyed reading or playing after tabs. my piano teach struggled a lot with me when he tried to teach me playing after sheet music 🙃 in return, this makes my chord progressions and melody lines sometimes quite random, I guess. but I still like it. but it's probably very helpful to reply what these legends did right? 🦦

anybody else released a track last Friday? here’s mine 🦦 https://open.spotify.com/track/1RafGQ4LNkK5QPcBQO6YaH?si=LNc00UMoQw6K0fuCiJcxdQ&context=spotify%3Aplaylist%3A37i9dQZEVXblaETnT0bkvB
@Joe Cabrera sadly I think I’ll have to skip tomorrow’s hangout. I just got too much work currently and with my gf being sick and friends visiting on the weekend there’s a lot just a lot to do rn. I’m sorry but I’ll be there next week for our weekly call for sure!

@Simon Burkhardt thank you buddy :) and really smooth piano track there! it's an interesting mix of feeling instrumental / neoclassical and lofiy through the retro drums and slight vinyl crackle. beautiful stuff. sometimes the best thing is not knowing what it will be and just following what comes up right 🦦
