TOE BEANS IS LIVE! 🐈🎸
https://open.spotify.com/album/7qoVHP40UUdYcL1AIs9GoH?si=-BcEjTUjRY6hCU09hg1OQQ Friends! The illusive instrumental project is now alive and kicking! It's been sitting in the back seat of my mind as something I've wanted to do for a while, and now with the love and support of @Sebastian Jautschus and the rest of the community "Toe Beans" is now out in the world. My first song "Big Stretch" should be available wherever you listen to music, but i included the spotify link above. I massively enjoyed the whole process, and I'm determined to make my process as resistance free going forward, understanding more about recording, mixing, etc. I already have a ton more ideas I want to put out, so now I justneed to be disciplined on staying focused 😜 Thank you all so much for the support. You really are a bunch of wonderful human beings ♥️ 🐈🎸

@Freddie Webber freddiiiii :) omg I’ll have to listen again with more quiet around. but I’m so proud of you for what is the most important thing - just taking a leap and releasing the first track. that’s both underestimated and underrated. I can’t wait to hear from you how this whole releasing process made you feel! I know that the post release phase can be very scary as well. bc you don’t know what to expect while being in an expecting state. so I hope you can relax for now and just know that you took the most important step - everything from here on feel easier 🫶🏼🦦
Tomorrow's hangout?
Is anyone joining the Hangout tomorrow? 🎸 If so, I could show you how I use Claude for my music project — for example to build analytics dashboards or SmartLink pages. Happy to walk through it and answer questions.

@Martin Eibisch @Simon Burkhardt hey guys I’m so so sorry I’m only seeing this now. we’re moving today and I haven’t been able to check how to give you the access yet. from next week on life should get a little calmer on my side again so I’m more present and super down to also join the dashboard call 🫶🏼🦦
Can’t wait to see everyone in 9 hours. Been too long.
I set my alarm this time as I’m pretty sure I missed the last one. Sending good vibes from Florida!!

Claude Code for Music Analytics
AI gets a lot of (justified) criticism in the music world right now, and watching what Suno and others are doing, I share those concerns. But I wanted to highlight a use case that's been genuinely helpful for me: data analytics. Over the course of one afternoon, I used Claude Code to build a set of dashboards with a tool called Streamlit, running locally on my machine and updated regularly with fresh data. No more wrestling with CSV exports (anyone who's dealt with DistroKid's royalty reports knows the pain 😅), just clean, visual overviews of everything that matters. And it goes beyond display. One question I'd always wondered about: how many songs should I actually put into Discovery Mode? Claude helped me work through that properly, with the data to back it up (see second screenshot). AI isn't replacing the music. But for the business side of things, the admin, the analysis, the stuff we'd rather not spend our creative energy on, it can be a serious time-saver. Happy to share more if anyone's curious. 🎸

@Martin Eibisch thaaaank you for the first glimpse into the inner workings of your dashboard! :) can't wait to build something like this myself. I already have an idea how to scrape automatically - ofc that needs a lot of testing as I'm sure you've been looking for an automatic updating system yourself. anyway, I'd love to have a call just dedicated to this. also your discussion belove with @Nathaniel Graham is just interesting stuff to read through on a sunday afternoon 🦦 now, tbh. I won't have time to plan and host a call for the coming month at least. so I was wondering if you'd be down to host it yourself? I'd make you admin and just sit back and relax 🥲

@Martin Eibisch can you connect you iphone as a webcame? mine shows up as option when I do video calls and it runs wireless. if the works prob the easiest solution. Or you join also with your phone via the app for video and sound. but great ! can't wait :) any idea when you'd like to host that call? I'll be painting our new flat tomorrow so I was thinking of pushing the gw hangout to sunday. maybe that works for you too? 🦦
