Head torches
Went for a run up Arthur’s Seat this morning and whilst we are soon coming out of the darkness in March, thought I should have taken my head torch today. Mine is pretty ropey, bargain basement job, any suggestion on torches that are comfy, decent beam and don’t cost as much as a wetsuit? That aside it was pretty busy up there this morning!

Pausing zwift
Chat through the week about long indoor rides and getting off for a comfort break. Just had my first one..enforced but couldn't figure out how to pause. Anyone know how?

Sometimes the coffee break is only available at certain times.
Iron man
What’s yous opinions of Ironman (the brand)? I’m not a fan : money centric. It also pains me that ironman is the denote for longer distance tris and I need to explain that Outlaw, challenge etc are Ironman distance but less corporate and therefore more acceptable (to me). But any newbies have a need to do an IM. ( and get the tat!)

My involvement in triathlon pre dates the IM trademark. I think. For what you get it's not bad. It's kind of like McDonald's you know what you will get which can be helpful. The two things that stand out are closed roads and nutrition is plentiful. Business wise I had some dealin with the Edinburgh race and they were fine. It wasn't busy so they moved on that's just sensible business practice. It does mean you can go around the world and get a decent standard of race to take part in.

@Tom Chambers Hi Tom, I've done Outlaw twice and the half and they are great races. It is however owned by Wasserman's who are nearly as big as IM. The volunteers however are what makes that race great, and the flat course!
Supplements
As Ian moved the gels chat on a bit. Here is my current take on supplements. This is what I currently take. I've been trying to lose weight and engage in some strength training recently.

Yeah the weight gain is likely the deal breaker, as aside from what any gains would be.
