I felt good listening to this but I find myself wondering not what the goal of this meditation is, because I know there is no goal. You just need to press play and let feelings arise, but I'm just wondering how this works. Like what is happening here on a subconscious level after listening to specifically the polarizing audios? What’s the purpose. I found it quite difficult at first to listen to the "I love myself, I hate myself" polarizing audio. I felt a lot of fear coming up when letting the "I hate myself" part wash over me, cause I definitely don't want to connect to feelings like that obviously. I was trying to be open-minded and just feel it and eventually it did lose its power over me, which is good. Eventually I was just listening to "I love myself" and "I hate myself" without connecting to them emotionally at all and I don't know if that's the point or not. I'm just wondering what listening to these daily will lead to and what the purpose of it is. Like what transformation do these audios provide in a real-world sense. With the second one about women liking me and then women rejecting me, it brought up some stuff about some rejections in the past. I always had really good-looking friends, exceptionally good-looking, especially my best friend. I would say that I am a pretty good-looking guy, very athletic, but my friend was exceptionally good-looking, like top 1%. I recall many times where girls would just come up and grab his face or be staring at him. I would feel slight rejection by that ,and envy, because I would see it happening and it wasn't happening to me. There were even times where girls said something and I looked and they were like, "Oh not you." So I felt that come up immediately but then the power of it definitely dissipated over time. I'd imagine that's the purpose of it but what would you expect doing this over time? That you would feel less fear of rejection or more comfortable in your skin? Just struggling with wrapping my head around what this is going to do and how it’s going to help.

@Jules Bia thanks for that. That’s what I was confused about I think. Because I have done a lot of inner work and I definitely have a profound self love. So at first I didn’t know how to go about that exercise and I was trying to entertain that idea of hating myself because I thought I was supposed to be doing that and it was just met with pure resistance. But what it sounds like is you should just hear the words and address anything that they bring up and it’s ok if they don’t bring up anything and you don’t resonate with that.
