You can lead a horse to water, but that doesn't make him a duck.

CRM / Email providers
Hey team! I have been head down for a couple of weeks now, just loaded up with gigs and work, and so I've been very quiet in here. Sorry about that. I have been on the hunt for a long time for a CRM that can do everything that I need. I want to manage contacts and companies. I want to manage deal flow and gigs. I want to manage emailing all of my contacts like a mailchimp or mailerlite, I want automated workflows so that once somebody is confirmed that they're getting a job, there are automated emails that send a month out from the job, a week out from the job, a day out from the job. I want the ability to have a customer portal where I can upload documents that they need once and not have to send them to them time and time again and I wanted to try adn get this into one platform. I found a few - but they are CRAZY EXPENSIVE. Until now. I think I have found a solution. I won't reveal it now because I actually want to know if you use any of these sorts of software. CRM, Email privider - what do yo uuse? and what features would you like to have that yoru current one does not provide?

@Paul Adams thank you so much for doing the research; I am right in the same boat. Anything to automate workflow. Very interested to hear what you've found.
Are you using AI?
Curious to know if anyone out there is using AI tools at the moment and if so what are you using ??

Yep. Creating working schedules, first drafts of scripts, & visuals that require weirdness that only my mind can describe 😎 But I use no automation and nothing gets published without being edited.

Crazy couple of months. Peter Pan: The Musical has closed its season and I'm very, very pleased with how it went. (At the same time I was also building a new pop-up escape room experience for my touring teams) Word-of-mouth certainly seemed to kick in for the second week of sales, ending with pretty close to full houses in the last couple of days. I was able to bring four of my OSHC group audiences to the show, which significantly helped increase ticket sales. And the feedback from them was excellent. Definitely some tweaks to happen in the process of how we engage them and get them into the venue. Went fairly smoothly but there's definitely some improvements we can make to simplify that for them. But we ended up finishing on 813 seats recorded across the two-week season of 16 shows. (The OSHC group leaders got in for free so its probably closer to 850 total) I was also able to reduce the overall spend as we went bring us about 15% under expected cash outlay on the show (approx $2k saving) There was, as always with independent shows, a lot of in-kind support, both from the venue and myself, in materials provided that were in stores rather than having to go out and purchase. Next job is to keep this audience as engaged as possible to excite them about coming back for the September show. What are you working on right now?
