Ok, I’ve got something kinda exciting to share with you…
Over the past couple weeks I’ve been working behind the scenes on something special for the guitar players in here who wanna finally have fun playing songs on guitar instead of living in their head lol. I’ve never done anything quite like this before inside Guitar Gym Pro… …but I’m PUMPED to show you what this NEW Kickstart Challenge is gonna look like. If you’re excited to see what I’ve got planned to help you have more fun playing more guitar in 2026, type “kickstart” below… …then be on the lookout for my post inside the group tomorrow with all the details.

KICKSTART
BIG NEWS FOR MY “I’ll-start-practicing-soon” GUITAR FRIENDS
Tomorrow starts Day 1 of the 7-Day Guitar Kickstart Challenge. This week could be the week you finally stop starting over. Not because you found the perfect YouTube video. Not because you bought another course. But because you showed up for 7 straight days… with a simple plan and people doing it with you. And this isn’t just for total beginners. If you’ve been practicing already and you’ve got momentum right now this is how you keep it. If you’ve done a challenge before… same deal. This is the easiest way to keep learning without overthinking it. Here’s how it works: - You’ll use a simple tracker (check the box each day) - You’ll follow the daily plan (clear + doable) - You’ll post inside the group so we can keep each other accountable and celebrate wins And here’s the best part: you don’t have to do some special “challenge song.” You can: - jump in on any song you’re already working on - start a new one - continue what you’ve been practicing - or even just focus on tightening up the basics for 7 days Not sure what to work on? Comment and tell me where you’re stuck (or what style you want to play) and I’ll point you in the right direction. 🎁 Two fun rewards: 1. Finish the 7 days → eligible for a live group feedback lesson with me. You'll send in a video, and on the call I’ll coach people one-by-one so you leave with clear next steps. 2. Keep going after the 7 days and complete the full 21-day challenge → entered to win a 1-on-1 private lesson with me. This is the whole point:Stop waiting to “feel ready.”Start stacking small wins.Let the group carry you on the days you don’t feel like it. If you want in: Step 1: Comment KICKSTART Step 2: I’ll reply with the tracker + how to start Day 1 (tomorrow) Let’s go!

Did you hear? They're not making 12-inch rulers any longer.
What do you do for work?
What's the 9-5 before the 5-9? Curious to learn more about you all!

I've been retired since 2018. I was a software developer for several companies over 39 years. I did prepare taxes part-time for a couple of years for H&R Block after retiring. Then I volunteered to do taxes for AARP a few years.

@Jake Yakes Preparing the taxes was interesting. It was a fun challenge to maximize refunds within the rules. I once saved a family $30k by digging a little deeper into the rules: totally legit. I liked AARP a lot more because there was no pressure to sell: I'm NOT a saleperson.
When Is Your Birthday?!?
My wife was just asking about mine which is Jan 27th. So, when is your birthday?!? ⬇️ Drop the Month and day in the comments below I'm wondering if we have 1 month that will be overrepresented in the group... Like members from Pennsylvania and people with the name Jake are 🙃

My guitar journey started in '78. Rocksmith 2014, post-2018 retirement, spurred JustinGuitar/FretScience lessons, leading to my 1st band performance.
