I got together recently with @Rositsa Aleksandrova @Jack Shiller @Chanie Twersky @Heidi Reagan to talk about what this community could become, and the clearest theme was simple: people are hungry for real connection. To start, we’re thinking about hosting regular virtual meetups so we can reconnect, hear everyone’s ideas, and get a better sense of what people would actually want from future IRL gatherings. I would like to establish the rhythm of a monthly IRL meetup. I'm looking for co-hosts to collaborate with over the next 6 months. I'd like to schedule a meetup with interested people, and brainstorm how to get the most out of our time together between April and September. I’m putting an All-Boroughs Tour on the calendar. So far, we've only met in Manhattan, and I'd love to get something scheduled in: - Brooklyn - Queens - Bronx - Staten Island Would anyone be interested in co-hosting in one of these locations? Our next IRL event takes place on Saturday, January 17th from 12-4 at St. Pat's...not the cathedral 😭 We'll have the 3rd floor, and it can host up to 50 people for dinner—let's fucking go, pack this thing out, and have a blast!!! There is no minimum spend, but I'd like to make it worth their while, so we have a convenient place to connect. Their regular menu will be available, and another option is the buffet (attached).
