👋 Hi, I’m Savannah!
Hi, my name is Savannah Fox. I live in Texas, and I plan on making $6,000 per month dispatching trucks. I want to get these 3 things from this course/community: 1.  Expand my knowledge on Dispatching. 2.  Know how to effectively start my dispatching business. 3. To gain a circle of like-minded friends! For fun I like to do these 3 things: 1.  Crocheting 2.  Reading 3.  Fishing A little bit about me: I'm 26, I'm engaged to the love of my life, and we have a mini version of a hurricane that's a 3-year-old little boy. We also have a Blue Heeler named Waylon (Yes, named after Waylon Jennings). I'm here because I fell in love with Dispatching, well, Brokering originally. I worked for a very small company (at the time) that had me brokering, when I went into it, I had NO EXPERIENCE. The owner threw me to the wolves, and I survived when I didn't think I wouldn't last my first week lol. A year later I had close relationships with the customers he had passed down to me and also with the drivers/dispatchers that would inquire about our loads, I loved every second of it. As my son got into his toddler years, he became sick all the time. Fevers were the big thing; he couldn't go to Daycare with one so it was me that would need to stay home with him - his daddy worked away from home Monday-Friday at the time. To make a long story short, I was let go. It broke my heart; I've craved going back but it's never lined up just right for me to do so. So, one web search led to another and here I am! I'm excited to get the ball rolling once again, I hope to meet some amazing people, and learn everything I can so I can get back to what I loved doing! I want to know more about y'all! What's everyone's stories? What's drives you? Why'd you decide that dispatching was what you wanted to do?

@Manraj Singh The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides - It's one of the best books I've read to this day, it's extremely well written. It's a psychological thriller, if you're not into thrillers I wouldn't recommend it.
A little about myself
Hey everyone i'm Martinez Hobbies: Art, listening to music, ,reading motivational books about business and self discipline, playing games ,exploring places with the money i make from my online website. Get to know me more: a passionate lover of home interiors who turned that love into a thriving business. What started as a simple decision to sell beautiful pieces I personally loved has grown into a life-changing journey in the world of eCommerce. I never imagined that sharing my passion could lead to building a million-dollar brand online, but here we are! Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of exploring 20 countries (and counting), sponsoring my own education, and achieving goals I once only wrote down in a notebook. One of the proudest moments for me was being able to put my amazing mom on a monthly income, allowing her to finally relax and enjoy life after working so hard for so long. Beyond interiors, I’ve also invested in other profitable ventures, all by the grace of God and a relentless drive to succeed at a young age and I've once learnt abt dispatching truck {not fully, i'm still learning} DM Let’s connect, share ideas, and learn from each other. I’d love to hear about your culture, your favorite food, and your own journey. I’m honored to be here, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us.

@Marilyn Siwinski Hi Marilyn! It's great to have you in the Community!
Question about Licensing
I don't know if this is allowed, I hope it is because I don't want to get into trouble, but I feel like I've looked everywhere and haven't gotten a straight answer, I'm desperate at this point. I live in Texas; do I need a license or obtain a certificate to become a self-employed dispatcher? Every time I look it up on Google it'll say either "Yes", "No", or "Maybe" then says, "Depending on your state." even though I include that my state is "Texas". It's been an absolute headache.
