AI Receptionist Wisdom
Anybody in this group getting good results from implementing AI receptionists? I'm thinking either RetellAI or GoHighLevel. I watched a Youtube video with Danny Harris and how easy (it seems?!) to sell voice agents to businesses that miss calls every day because they're away from the phone or too busy to pick up. I feel like I keep coming back to this service model which probably means it's resonating with me and I should pursue it. Are there any seasoned veteran-users in this group who I'd be able to fall back on if I have questions on implementation down the road? TIA!!🤩

What are you working on currently?
I'm working on a n8n workflow on lead management and the pilot phase should start soon 👀. Some more testing, adjustments to be sure the leads get handled well.

@Matthias Schweiker working on AI voice agent (call receptionist) for a HVAC company from US. Built a voice assistant that takes and processes payments via calls using their card details - through a layer of security but it's one of the most liked flow so far. Now extending that.

@Matthias Schweiker Yes - - Tuning voice agents to sound real. - Using right model depending on situations (i.e. for general conversations, finance etc). - Ensuring fast responses between n8n flows and vapi live call. Kinda more fluent now :)
What Would You Do First If You Were Starting From Absolute Zero?
I'm 21, dead broke, and completely lost in this AI era — and I need honest help. 🙏 Everywhere I look, people are building systems, earning online, creating leverage with AI. And here I am... overthinking every single step, overwhelmed before I even begin. No budget for tools. No budget for courses. No clear idea where to start. Every time I try to learn — AI automation, startups, entrepreneurship — I get hit with so much information that I just freeze. Mentally drained. Every. Single. Day. I'm not lazy. I genuinely want to build something real. I want systems that work FOR me. I want to solve problems and create value. But I can't even pick a starting point without second-guessing myself into paralysis. I've looked at AI automation, content creation, freelancing. I understand just enough to know I don't know enough — and that fear keeps me stuck. So I'm asking the people who've actually walked this path. If you were 21, zero budget, zero experience, and 1 hour a day — what's the FIRST thing you'd do? Not a roadmap. Not a course recommendation. Just the first real door you'd walk through. Be specific. Be honest. I can handle it. 🎯 I'm reading every single reply.

@Vanshika Sahore Following worked for me so I am suggesting the same here on top of what Duy explained: 1. Being active on forums like this, Upwork and other freelancer sites to capture opportunities. 2. Build your 'unfair advantage' that could be proficiency in niche like RAG / Voice Agents or whatever but become better than others. It can be access to paid tools etc but something that's not very common and you start getting sold.
