What’s an “Aha Moment” you’ve had with increased energy? A specific addition or elimination to your diet or lifestyle change? @Ariel Kestler @Corey Peacock @Katie Jagocki @Becky Brett @Abigail Cola @Sarah Wambles @Sara Colon
Sleep definitely makes a difference. But also exercise. I can feel zapped of energy and want to just go do nothing after a long work day, but when I force myself to just start the workout I usually end up with extra energy afterward to do chores and finish the day more productively.
I know 10 years ago, for me, I just wanted to be lean, like see my ribs lean. Now, I want to be strong and lean. How has time changed your perception of your own fitness? @Margie Brennan @Katie Jagocki @Becky Brett @Michelle Parke @Val Zbezinski @Ariel Kestler @Corey Peacock @Sara Colon @Sarah Wambles @Abigail Cola
10 years ago I was struggling to lose weight from baby #3, not getting enough sleep, and crash dieting. “Being fit” was about fitting into old clothes. Today (thx to Holly 😊) I’m lifting weights and feel strong, eating the right kinds of food instead of focusing on just cutting calories (more protein, more fiber, and avoiding the hidden bad stuff), and getting more sleep. Being fit to me today is not just about looks or a size, it’s about good digestion (less stomach pain), more endurance for hiking and outdoor activities, and more energy for time with my family!
