😂 FAITH FORWARD — SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO DO IT SCARED! 🐕🙏🏽 Let me tell y’all what happened to me yesterday. 😂 I was at the back of my trailer in the P&G lot here in Texas, minding my business and trying to get my work done. All of a sudden, out of the side of my eye, I noticed I had company. A BIG BLACK DOG! 🐕‍🦺😂 I attached a picture of what it looked like below! He had walked up behind me and was just standing there looking at me like: “Ma’am… what exactly are you doing back here?” 👀😂 it came up to my waistline in height!! Now listen… I did NOT make eye contact. I acted like I didn’t see that dog. And I hightailed it back to my truck—WITHOUT RUNNING! 😂😂 Because in my mind I was thinking, Don’t run, Darlena. Whatever you do, DON’T RUN! 😭 I made it back inside that truck, but then reality hit me: I STILL HAD TO FINISH HOOKING UP THAT TRAILER! 😩😂 The dog hadn’t clocked me out. The trailer wasn’t going to hook itself. And the job still had to get done! So I had to gather myself, deal with my fear, get back out there, and finish what I came to do. And wouldn’t you know it—that funny moment gave me a real-life lesson. Sometimes God doesn’t remove the thing that scares us before we have to move. Sometimes we have to pray, gather ourselves, and DO THE MISSION SCARED. Courage doesn’t always mean you’re not afraid. Sometimes courage looks like: “Lord, I’m scared…but I’m going anyway.” That business. That application. That ministry. That conversation. That new opportunity. That assignment God put on your heart. You don’t always have to wait until the fear disappears before you move forward.
