🧵 A little Studio Corner question for the weekend…
What is sitting beside your sewing machine right now? It might be the project you’re working on, a pile of fabric waiting for attention, a favourite tool, a cup of tea… or something that really shouldn't be there at all! 😄 Tell us in the comments — or even better, pop in a photo. No tidying up first allowed! I’ll show you mine too. 😊

My nosey cat, waiting to see what I start next!
🌍 If you could take a quilting holiday anywhere in the world, where would you go? Would it be Japan?
Would it be Japan? The USA? France? New Zealand? 😉 Or somewhere you've always dreamed of visiting? Tell us where—and why!

Any where with quilt shows, warm weather, water, and new scenery. Guess I’m open to dreaming of many places.
The GourmetQuilter Gazette Issue 5
🖋️ Read all about it!! Yay - a new issue is right here! Vol. - 1 Issue 5 is available now. Such an exciting Issue this time as we have several reader contributions - thank you so much Janet, Julie, Meg and Lesley for sending your quilt pics. Pop on over and have a look. We actually had more contributions than published but I ran out of space - what a delicious challenge! This is a monthly publication and would love reader in-put, so please let me know if you would like to have your quilt included - thanks. Deadline date is 10th of each month. Please title your email GQ Gazette when you send me your pic and information to [email protected]. Thanks. It is available to view and download in the "Classroom" tab, just look for The GourmetQuilter Gazette Issue 5. Enjoy!

I had to smile at your classified for sale basket, that is certainly the truth about it not staying empty for long.
🧵 UFO Rescue Mission! 🚀
Have you got an Un-Finished Object (UFO) hiding somewhere in your sewing room? 😊 We've all got them... those projects that started with great excitement and somehow found their way into a basket, drawer or cupboard! This weekend, instead of starting something new, why not choose just one unfinished project and spend 15 minutes with it. No pressure to finish it. Just find it, unfold it, admire how far you've already come... and perhaps stitch a seam or two. I'd love to see what resurfaces! 📸 Pop a photo in the comments—even if it's only a pile of pieces or a project bag. Every finished quilt was once an unfinished project. Let's encourage each other to give those forgotten projects a little love. 💛

I set aside 12 unfinished quilts and other projects at the beginning of the year to work on, one each month. Got those 12 finished, but now have 4 started. Love starting projects, but have to really focus to finish one.
☕ Around the Cutting Table
What's one quilting tool you couldn't be without? Is there something that you use regularly and would feel lost without? Like a rotary cutter? Sewing machine? specific scissors? or....? Do let us know. Fo me I think it might be the rotary cutter - I have been quilting for a long time and can remember the days before the rotary cutter, it made such a difference to cutting out quilt pieces.
