Great pic! Merry Christmas everyone!!!
Super chuffed with this!
She can now do weaves within a course! These are my videos from yesterday! Literally ran and hugged the instructor as she came out the weaves!

@Samantha Preece I’m seriously so chuffed with that I am watching it on loop! She’s got it so we can now do full courses!
Agility!!!!
Omg Mabel was awesome today! I remembered the course and we did weaves within a round really consistently! Video is of my instructor running her right at the end of a 90 minute session! Ignore my terrible filming!

Day !? - lovely to meet some of you this evening!
So the 7pm catch up was lovely, my mind was a bit elsewhere as it’s three days till Xmas and mum arrives tomorrow and her room was basically Xmas itself! So I’ve been sorting that out, wrapping (obviously with help from Mabel) and tidying! But it was lovely to talk to you all! Mabel’s done some lovely impulse control games today, she waits while I throw the toy then either gets sent after it, asked to do something else then sent, or sent then interrupted with a recall/touch it stop! Keep it totally mixed up do she can’t second guess! Her impulse control out and about is coming on well too, recalling just as she’s reached the thing she raced off too (normally a big muddy puddle)! I then send her back to ‘go splash’ to strengthen that recall! We did some marked retrieves across a great distance! All good!

@Samantha Preece @Nick Benger I was thinking about the demand barking and time out and wanted to add what I do…. We use a house line (light weight and small clip) so we can easily move a dog out of a space if needed for a quick time out…. It can stop the game of catch if they get wise to what’s happening or redirecting mouthing if it’s a puppy and you go to pick it up to move it….. might be useful, not sure of nicks opinion on house leads but it worked well for us with Mabel chewing the sofa etc as a pup! And I’ve used it with clients lots. Important to keep an eye on them so they don’t get all tangled in something but if it’s a few seconds time out it can help!

@Samantha Preece just have to watch your other dog doesn’t get tangled if they rough play! Just remembered you have two!
Day 118 Weaves
Weaves before dinner, Tricky entry she gets wrong the first time. Dinner bowl off to the side rather than ahead is a big distraction and the toys are challenging for her.

That’s awesome, love the distractions you’re putting in to make sure she stays on task!
