🏍️ NEW COURSE UNLOCKED: Confident Pillion
I realised we spend a lot of time teaching people how to ride motorcycles, but almost nobody teaches people how to be a pillion. How to sit comfortably. How to communicate with your rider. Why bikes lean. What to do when you're nervous. How to survive a full-day road trip without wanting to throw yourself into a ditch. 😅 So I put together a course covering everything I wish more pillions were taught from day one. Whether you're brand new, ride with your partner every weekend, or you're starting to wonder if you might want your own bike one day, I hope it helps. As always, it's completely free for MotoMuse members. 💙 Have you ever been a pillion? What's the one thing you wish someone had told you before your first ride?

🧠 RIDER CONFIDENCE & SKILLS THREAD 🏍️
What’s one riding skill, fear, or challenge you’ve struggled with… that eventually clicked? Could be: - U-turns - Hills - Slow-speed riding - Gravel roads - Traffic - Cornering - Bigger bikes - Filtering - Confidence after dropping a bike - Literally just leaving the driveway alone for the first time 😂 One of the biggest things I’ve realised is that almost every rider thinks they’re the only one struggling with something. You’re definitely not. Share: 👉 what challenged you 👉 what helped 👉 what finally made it “click” Your experience might genuinely help another rider feel less intimidated 👇

All of the above..😂😂 Biggest things for me would be hills (more so being stopped on a hill and needed to take off again e.g, traffic lights). Gravel roads freak me out, but taking it slower helps. Cornering I really struggle with, changing bike helped this. Changing from a sports bike where I was sitting up quite high 'on top of the bike' to another where I am more 'sitting inside the bike' really helped. The rest I think is just mental

@Luce Taverner isn't it?! I think the mental aspect of it is probably the hardest part of riding😆 or so I have found. Oh awesome! I'll keep an eye out for it😄
🏍️ Welcome to MotoMuse 💭
Let’s kick things off properly 👇 Tell us:👉 What bike do you currently ride? OR👉 If you don’t ride yet… what’s your dream bike and why? No judgement here — whether it’s a Grom, a GS1300, a pink Vespa, or a stretched turbo Hayabusa 😂 One of the coolest things about riding is how personal bike choice is. What feels perfect to one rider might feel completely wrong to someone else. Can’t wait to see what everyone’s into 👀👇

I feel like somewhat of an imposter😆 I'm not actually much of a bike fanatic, my partner has 6 bikes, he rides and drags me along on the back😅 I have started riding a couple of his bikes on my own however, and we fix them together. But I'm far more comfortable pulling them apart and putting them back together than I am riding them😂 I'd like to be a little more understanding of basic lingo etc and am definitely working on my confidence in regaurds to riding.
