Education Podcast
Who listened to the most recent podcast about individualizing your childrenโ€™s education needs with intuition?! It was so good! My mind is reeling. As a former teacher I had the same public school experience as Maggie did- locking kids in a padded closet, restraints, being sworn at, kids sending naked pictures on Snapchat, kids with abusive situations, just so upsetting that when I had my first son I quit teaching and homeschooled. While intuiting last night, I discovered none of my 3 sons should be exclusively homeschooled and something in me was not at all surprised- I had already begun to expect it. Anyone else re-thinking what the best fit is for their kids?! What did you think about the podcast?! It made so much sense Nd really got me thinking about how we come to our soul purpose and accepting that our kids lives are going to have adversity and challenges- for good reason โค๏ธ It still hurts to think about as a mom!

I listened to it yesterday and I had so many thoughts about it too. I havenโ€™t trained my intuition but I feel like my son had periods where he could have been homeschooled. Both mine struggled with going to kindergarten and my mama heart still feels that hurt of the crying at drop off. But my kids are older , high school now and it really got me thinking about college and what the best options are for their future. Iโ€™d love to see if anyone here can intuit what would be the best for my kids. I have an older daughter ,17 and younger son,15. I have my gut feeling but I know that I also have strong feelings about college in general that it might be overriding whatโ€™s best for them. Anyway it was a super good podcast and it really hit home for me me.

@Katharina Hornikel that would be awesome! I would love the guidance and am so curious as to how close or far off Iโ€™ve thought about each of them individually lol.

I love this. I do this every morning. I kinda let myself feel into what I need. What feels most important at the moment. I started journaling this year and I always start with a meditation or just sitting in bed in the dark with a cup of coffee and I just feel and see what comes up. I have had all those experiences that you have had. I love to feel into my body and see what sensation comes up and then I ask that version of me to take the mic and go on the stage and let her rip. And Iโ€™m in the audience. I let her say what she needs to say and I see every part of her. How old she is, I see how she feels, all the things and then I come up on stage and sit down and let her come to me however she needs to and I can just sense what she needs. And I am there for her.
