Gas Prices and Inflation
The price of gas is really getting out of hand in my opnion. I'm shocked us humans haven't figured something else out yet, I mean something that really works because EV'S are not the answer. So I know we have people from all over the world on here and I'm curious what gas prices are in your area. Here in BC Canada where I am, on the coast so close to Vancouver, the price just went from about $1.76 a liter to $2.13, the highest I've ever seen it. I'm also curious if this is affecting your day to day lives, like are you driving less or going out less because it's to expensive? Or car pooling more, stuff like that. And how bad is the rest of inflation in your area, food prices mostly because they're something we all have to buy. I guess I'm just curious if we're all feeling this in the whole world at the same time? I also would like to point out the fact that everyone here is on the right path weather your actively running a homestead, growing a garden, raising your own meat or just looking into it, at least your trying to do something to take care of yourself. Be the change I guess

Gas is about $3.55 here in Alabama. I havenโ€™t noticed much of an increase in groceries yet. I usually look for deals before I go shopping. I buy our chicken in bulk from a local butcher so itโ€™s cheaper than stores and tastes better too.

@Megan Noel whatever these are. @Jim Flach any help would be appreciated. I havenโ€™t bought any soil yet. Just the seeds and a container with a greenhouse lid from dollar tree

Make it yourself
What's something that you never buy anymore because you make or produce it yourself? For me it's lots of things but my #1 is meat. We raise a majority of our own meat, chicken, duck, and goats. We also fish and I preserve it. This is something I think all homesteaders should do because it such a beneficial food source. So how about you?

Your last meal
If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life what would it be? For me it's a toss up between spaghetti and a really good pho

I used to think it would be tacos. Now itโ€™d probably be a peanut butter sandwich lol
Sourdough Starter Guide
So I'm working on a sourdough master class that will be available soon in my courses. I just made this guide as a free handout for everyone, please let me know what you think. There will be more to come like troubleshooting your starter, how to make your first loaf, and how to store your starter in the fridge amd for long term. I'm assuming you'll have to go in to canva when you look at the guide to doqn load it. Please let me know if it's something easy or hard to do.
