The real definition of love from a guy!
You guys wallahi @Mindful Muslimah nailed it!!!!!! If you didnt see her reel 10 hours ago. Please do! I was almost convinced that that was just my preference but coming from the sister makes it so real. YES,YES, YES AND YES. Take it to the perspective of how he loves Allah in private when no one sees him! How does he mention you when you are not present? Does he even mention you at all? Does he remember and act in front of other women as a married man who is loved and respected at home. Does he take off his engagement ring when you’re not with him? Does he boast about you? Does he sometimes refer to you in your absence as the better spouse to others? Does he make positive dua for you in your absence and I could go on and on! https://www.instagram.com/stories/mindfulmuslimah/3993865907691704914?utm_source=ig_story_item_share&stkn=MWxyZTB6dGZrbm94dw==

Introvert Vent: Anxiety around men & finding peace with my pets
"Hey sisters, I just wanted to use this safe space to vent a bit. As an introvert, I often find myself feeling really anxious and scared whenever I have to talk to men. Honestly, I feel the most at peace when I'm just on my own, enjoying the quiet company of my pets. Do any of you other introverted sisters experience this too, or feel the same way?"

SubhanAllah we all went through something similar to what both of you @Rashieda Isaacs and @Layan B as human it is natural to feel withdrawn and scared when rejected, neglected or had some childhood experiences that shaped us. And what Layan said in terms of how to navigate with people in general is the same thing I did. I dont call it trauma more than it is an experience that we as muslims are able to cure ourselves from through our Iman and self awareness. I was an introvert my self but I realized that my emotional intelligence was one of the reasons. No one understood me but I understood them very well and instead of standing for who I was, I would shape myself to fit in and uncomfortably. Like how I tried to fit into my favorite pair of jeans I use to wear when I was a teen. Of course I grew of course and certainly I dont want to be that mom who is walking around in her daughters jeans saying oh the dryer shrunk my clothes. I dreaded sizing up!! But realized it made me look better! What I am trying to say is that we need to grow in our mindset before getting into a relationship to own your standards to embrace your strengths and understand who are the suitable people to keep in your circle and who can further on understand your weakness and help you grow comfortably and confidently. You will find that person who makes you comfortable in your own skin! Focus on yourself and how you feel, if you feel safe then proceed. Read read read! The first word Allah sent to prophet Mohammed AS! Read how to make effective conversations, read how to understand yourself, read about human behavior, read more Quran. I am loving myself by the day realizing the new person I have become and will continue to become inshallah. Love yourself be proud of who you are my sister. May Allah guide us all and protect us.
Sat with my friend today and it broke my heart a little 💔
She just found out one of her friends is going through a hard time in her marriage.. money problems. Not cheating, not abuse, just... economy pressure. And it's shaken her. She looked at me and said "I don't think I'm ready to get married. What if the same thing happens to me?" And honestly? I get it. Look around.. economy is bad, politics is a mess, even the climate feels unstable. It's easy to look at all of that and think "how can I bring a marriage into this?" In the moment I told her "you can't think like that, just put your trust in Allah, everything will be fine." And that's true. But driving home I kept thinking... that's not the full answer, is it? Because tawakkul was never "have faith instead of preparing." It was always "tie your camel, THEN trust Allah." 🐪 If you were me... what would you say to her?

How many are the creatures that cannot secure their provisions! ˹It is˺ Allah ˹Who˺ provides for them and you ˹as well˺. He is indeed the All-Hearing, All-Knowing. 29:60 One of Allah’s names is Arrazaq, 'the Provider'. When we hear the word Rizq 'provision', all what we think of is wealth. However, there are great forms of provision that we don’t pay any attention to. The tranquility and calmness of your soul, having a healthy body, having a mother who makes duaa for you, an encounter with a love one, the existence of a sibling, the priceless laughter of your child, To have a good sincere friend, to pray on time every single day, the blessing of sight & hearing, the ability to speak, the ability to have a good night sleep, and the list goes on and on. Praise is due to Allah for what we see and what we don’t see, the Provider and the Sustainer, whom everything in this universe depends on Him. O Allah, makes us among those who appreciate your favors and blessings and make us among the thankful.
Relocation with young children following second marriage
I am a divorcee with three young children aged 5 (boy), 8 (girl) and 10 (girl) years old. It has been 6 years since the divorce (He left after finding our about our third pregnancy and got married to someone else). I now want to get married as I can now make some time for a comitment. I am 36yrs old. I have managed to settle into my job as a pharmacist, done some training, worked on self reflection, children are settled in primary school and have a good understanding of my parenting. I am struggling to decide whether relocation would be a good option for me. One side tells me better to have it done whilst children are in primary school so they start secondary school with some familiar people from their new primary school. Also They may accept my marriage whilst young as compared to later. Also sharing a good example of marriage to children whislt they are young. I need my son to have a good male figure. The other side tells me that I should wait with my marriage perhaps by another couple of years so: 1. to allow my children to grow so they can help if I have another child from my new marriage rather me dealing with my own young ones whilst having another baby (and young step children). I am a hands on parent but any additional work when trying to bond with a new partner might put a strain. Dealing with young children on its own is a layer of emotional strain and full time commitment, and if our children clash with each other then that could impact the marriage. I feel I am imagining being left again to deal with children on my own (yes .. fear based thought...) 2. reduce the risk of being housebound once again If I have more children (and I really do want more children). Yes another fesr based thought.. ... but these are real and practical implications that can put strain on any relationship. Please share your views..

Dont wait! I am the same age with three youngsters as well and science higher degree and I am more convinced than ever that we need to just go through it. Its your chance to shine and do your research on what you need in a partner cuz we will find em somewhere. Trust in Allahs plans have tawakol and make your purpose purely towards Allah. Good luck sister.

Yes @Habibatul Aulia hearing the success stories from others is soo uplifting. I wish I found out about mindful muslimah and this community long time ago. It took me 5 years to get out of that toxic clam (relationship and then my old self). I now have the confidence and that chance again to make a successful decision about who deserves to be the husband, the father and the companion for the remainder of this life that Allah has for us. The recourses, and techniques I am taking from here is giving me peace of mind! For a person who is always nervous and thinking of the worst I feel like I have a complete shift of mindset ilhamdilah. May Allah continue to guide us and guide the right person towards us in the time Allah sees fit as He is the best planner. I am currently harassing this one man with MM vetting questions. Lol just kidding! Inshallah khayr. I cant emphasize more how important it is to vet for faith in Islam first and foremost. My prayers to all the sisters here! Jazakom Khayr ❤️❤️❤️❤️
