YOUR TRIGGER IS YOUR TERRITORY
We just talked about how what breaks your heart in this world is not random. It is pointing at something. Now let's do the work. I want you to complete all three parts below and post your answers in the chat. PART ONE — THE TRIGGER Finish this sentence honestly: "When I see ____________ happening in the world, I cannot stay silent or stay still." Do not overthink it. Write the first thing that rises in you. PART TWO — THE PATTERN Now ask yourself this: Has this specific thing been bothering you for years or did it show up recently? If it has been with you for a long time, that is not a coincidence. That is a thread. Write one or two sentences about when you first noticed this fire in you and what it looked like back then. PART THREE — THE CONNECTION Here is where it gets real. Look at what you wrote in Part One. Now ask yourself: "If my gift was fully developed and fully deployed, how could it directly address this problem?" You do not need a perfect answer. You need an honest one. Write what comes up even if it feels too big or too unclear right now. After everyone posts, I will come through and begin connecting what you are seeing in yourselves to the gift categories we are working with here at The Genesis Institute. This is how we stop treating our gifts like personality traits and start treating them like instruments built for a specific purpose.

"When I see the abuse and subjugation of women happening in the world, I cannot stay silent or stay still." It’s been with me for years. I first learned about child brides as a teen but there were never any child grooms. While I was rocking my L A Gear demin set to school. There was a girl my age who was taken to an event not knowing she was being handed over to another family and married to a grown man. She would bear children while I was complaining about finals. That just seemed so unfair to me. I’ve always wondered if years later when they understood the world better if they would change things if they had the chance. Someone should be there to help them when they’re ready. If my gift was fully developed I would help women who lived most of their lives for others live their own life find their own way. Examine themselves. Get to know themselves and what they really want out of life and help them achieve it.
WHAT MAKES YOU WANT TO GET UP AND FIGHT
Before you can walk in your gift with purpose, you have to know what breaks your heart. Not in a wounded way. In a warrior way. There is something happening in this world right now that you cannot scroll past without feeling something shift inside of you. That feeling is not anxiety. It is assignment. Spiritually gifted people are not neutral observers of the world. You were built to respond to specific kinds of brokenness. The question is, do you know which kind? Some of you see injustice and your whole nervous system ignites. Some of you watch children suffer and something ancient rises in you. Some of you see people being lied to, manipulated, spiritually deceived and you cannot stay quiet. Some of you feel the weight of communities that have been forgotten, exploited, stripped of identity and it physically moves you. That is not trauma talking. That is your gift pointing at its territory. YOUR TRIGGER IS YOUR TERRITORY What enrages you is usually what you were sent to address. The wound you carry the most sensitivity around is often the exact wound your gift was designed to heal in others. This week I want you to sit with one question. What is happening in this world right now that makes you feel like you cannot do nothing? Drop it below. Let's map this together. Because your gift was not given to you for your own spiritual growth. It was given to you for a time exactly like this one.

Thinking about the women all over the world who have no freedom to live their lives the way they want really pisses me off. Whether it be enslavement, trafficking or even family tradition, women who live a life of servitude because someone else’ prerogative 😡
The Healer Who Has Not Been Healed
The Healer Who Has Not Been Healed Is the Most Dangerous One in the Room. A word for the restorative gifted who have been pouring without being poured into. The most dangerous healer in any room is not the untrained one or the inexperienced one. It is the one who has never allowed themselves to be healed. Because that person is not facilitating restoration. They are searching for it. And when you are searching for your own healing through the people you are supposed to be serving, neither of you will have language for why something that looked like healing left both of you emptier than when you started. - Why Gifted Restorers Avoid Their Own Healing Being in the healer role feels natural. It feels purposeful. It feels like the place where you make the most sense to yourself. What is harder to admit is that staying in the healer role can also be the most sophisticated way of avoiding the one thing your gift actually requires from you first. Many restorative gift carriers became the stable one in an unstable environment long before anyone asked their permission. You learned that your value was tied to what you could provide. Needing something yourself started to feel like a betrayal of the role you had always occupied. So you kept giving. And you called that strength. - What Unhealed Healing Actually Looks Like It looks like being extraordinarily perceptive about what other people need and completely disconnected from what you need. It looks like attracting the same wounded people repeatedly and wondering why the dynamic never changes. It looks like physical exhaustion that no amount of sleep fixes because what is depleted is not your body. It is something deeper. It looks like knowing exactly what to say to help someone release a wound you have been carrying yourself for years without ever applying that same wisdom inward. Recognizing this is not a failure. It is the beginning of the most important work you will ever do. - Why Your Own Healing Makes You More Effective

It’s so easy as healers to neglect ourselves. Being here in this space has hi-lighted the truth of needing healing for myself. I want to serve. I want to facilitate transformation for others. But I NEED to understand the importance of giving that to myself first. Joining this collective was me giving to myself. I’m so glad I did.

@Bre Hudson this is incredible. I’ve always wanted to do past life regression with a professional. In my dreams I’ve been shown that I’ve had multiple incarnations as a priestess in different parts of the world. And some type of betrayal I didn’t see coming or didn’t have the courage to stop lead to the destruction of the tribe. This time I’m doing things differently. I’m calling out the foolishness. It’s been hard but I have a new kind of peace because I spoke up this time. I am not playing about boundaries for the sake of someone else’s comfort.

Let us do something a little different today. I just dropped a new blog in the community and it is speaking directly to those of you who carry the Restorative gift. But honestly even if restoration is not your primary category, this one is going to land. Before you go read it I want to leave you with something to sit with tonight. - Tonight's Journal Prompt: Where in my life have I been giving the thing I most need to receive? You do not have to share that one. That one is between you and your journal. - But down in the comments I want you to answer this: If your energy were a plant or herb right now, what kind of plant or herb would it be and why? A cactus surviving on nothing. A wilting houseplant that needs water. A thriving outdoor garden. A succulent that looks fine but has not been repotted in years. No wrong answers. Just honest ones. Drop it below. I am genuinely curious and I have a feeling this comment section is about to be very telling. ❤️Genesis

I love this exercise. I see myself as a huge field of lavender. I naturally bring calm healing and emotional safety. I am soft but not weak. Right now I’m in my returning to bloom phase. I’m not a seed anymore but also not fully in bloom yet. Im relearning what I need to flourish.

You Picked it up! Now what? The Behind the Scenes of Channeling and Delivery
Most people think channeling is the whole process. It is not. It is barely the beginning. When your spirit picks something up, whether it is a word, an image, a feeling, a knowing, what just happened is reception. Your spiritual antenna locked onto a frequency. A signal came through. That is the first half of the job. The second half is what most spiritually gifted people skip, rush, or fumble entirely. That second half is called delivery. And if you do not understand how the two work together, you will spend your life picking up accurate messages and releasing them in ways that do not land, do not help, and sometimes cause more confusion than clarity. Let me walk you through what is actually happening. - RECEPTION: HOW YOUR SPIRIT PICKS UP A MESSAGE Your spirit does not operate on your timeline. It does not wait until you are ready, rested, or in the right environment. It is always scanning. Always receiving. Think of your spirit like a radio tower that never powers down. The signals are always moving through the atmosphere. What determines what you pick up is your frequency, your alignment, and your level of sensitivity to what is moving in the invisible. When a message comes through, it typically arrives in one of four ways: A knowing that has no explanation. You just know something is true before you have a reason to believe it. A visual. A symbol, a scene, a flash of imagery that carries meaning beyond what the image literally shows. A physical or emotional sensation. A weight in your chest, a sudden grief that is not yours, a warmth in your hands. A word, phrase, or name that drops into your mind unprompted and does not leave. What you are doing in those moments is not thinking. You are receiving. There is a difference. Thinking is you generating. Receiving is something being deposited into you. The mistake most people make is treating reception as the finish line. They feel something, and they immediately say it out loud or post it online. That is impulse, not delivery.

‘The difference between the spiritually gifted and spirituality trained’. I love that distinction.
