Our 1st Aerial Flow Tutorial!
Behold, our first long-form tutorial! This one covers static & spin exploration of a three part flow involving: - Aerial Rond de Jambe (shout out to @Sara Kelly for helping me identify the ballet term for that move!) - Pole Sit - Hello Boys or Violator (both work in this combo) I encourage you to share videos here in the comments of what this tutorial inspires you to do! Remember, the goal is not to be a carbon copy of me, but to take what I share for a ride and see how your body/movement needs fine tune it into something that feels delicious for you! Let the inspiration FLOW!!!

Still planning on trying this one πŸ‘€πŸ‘πŸ½ such a great tutorial! I finally have time to practice a bit more this week! Thanks for all your hard work in making these for us, Amanda!
MINI TUTORIAL #2
If your air walk feels CLUNKY, watch this. This mini tutorial covers 1) Technique you can FEEL! How to engage straight knees (NO microbends!) and pointed toes. 2) How to coordinate an elegant airwalk! Drill this exercise and comment with a video of your new and improved airwalk on the Pole!!

Here’s my floor practice attempt. My knees did not want to straighten all the way but I was trying really hard haha. I’ll keep working on this!

P.S. here’s my first attempt on the pole after rewatching the tutorial - would love any feedback 🫢🏽

@Amanda Grant for me - I’d like to learn to fluidly transition on the pole while in the air. So mostly aerial combos!
Competition Season?!πŸ‘€
It's been brought to my attention that Pole Sport Organization's (PSO) 2026 Southwest Competition is happening in Dallas, TX on August 1st! The registration deadline is June 1st which leaves us a good amount of time to get familiar with the 5 different skill levels and performance style categories, then consider which ones best suite you so you can decide if you're interested in competing! The best thing about PSO is it's accessible for ALL skill levels! We will do a deep dive on this soon so stay with me if you're curious! There's also opportunity to perform without being judged/ranked, and they'll need volunteers which is a great way to gain access to supporting your friends! I've participated in lots of PSO events. I've won some medals, built winning routines with students who concurred what they once thought was impossible, and served as a judge and PSO ambassador. The full event packet is attached below, but also LETS TALK ABOUT IT! Would you consider competing?!

@Amanda Grant mostly logistics and specific details about the event and what it entails for me - such as costs/expenses, what things to expect, details about prepping a solid routine, etc.

@Amanda Grant this is super super helpful! Leaning more toward β€œyes!” especially if we get a group together. That will make it even more worthwhile in terms of training, having support, making the trip, etc. AND I would gladly lean on your expertise in terms of crafting a routine.
MINI TUTORIAL #1
β€œPOINT YOUR TOES!!” How many times have you heard this, inside or outside of your head?! πŸ˜† As a baby poler, the command to point my toes was never accompanied with a proper breakdown of HOW to point my toes, what MUSCLES to use or what that engagement FEELS like. Allow me to expedite the trial and error process with this 2.5 minute mini tutorial that will polish your leg extension below the knee!! πŸ¦„πŸͺ„πŸŒˆ Do you commit to fully engaging your toe points from this day forward?!?
