👋 Hi, I’m Sam!
Hi my name is Sam Horan. I’m 22 years old and live in Wexford, Ireland. I plan on moving to Dallas, Tx very soon with my family to start a box trucking company. We already run a logistics company here in Ireland so we have a lot of experience in the industry. I want to get these 3 things from this course/community: 1.  With a new MC, what’s the best way to book loads? 2.  Has anyone got any tips for moving to the US ? 3. What are the main difficulties/frustrations you guys have noticed as dispatchers ? For fun I like to do these 3 things: 1.  Catch up with friends 2.  Go to the gym! 3.  Watch movies ————————————————— PS, live footage of me on the way to the pub!

Best of luck brother 🙏
MC Number Getting Abolished?
I’m going to be an “in house” dispatcher for a family business. As we set up the company, I’ve now seen online that MC numbers will be abolished Oct 1st 2025 onwards. Can anyone here confirm this is true ? Hardly much point in paying $300 or so to get one, if I only need a USDOT number going forward ?

@Kendrick Moton do you know the way the age of your MC matters to brokers, I wonder is that the case with the USDOT also?

Hi Ishmael, best of luck on your journey brother 🫡 I’m starting out also, should be fun!
My start of the journey
Hey guys, Today is my first day of researching and learning about freight dispatching. Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Eugene, and I'm a 26-year-old born in Ukraine. I've been living and working in Budapest, Hungary, for almost 6 years now. I've tried various things to find an occupation that I'd be passionate about, and simultaneously thank to which I could become financially free. This may be it. I have a bachelor's degree in Logistics from one of Ukraine's universities, and never thought I'd come back to this direction, but here I am. Currently, I work as an Engineer at one of the big Companies here in Budapest, but I don't like this job, and I'm planning to relocate to Prague, Czech Republic in 2-3 months. My family lives there. I'm going to try to become a freight dispatcher, and hopefully by the time I relocate, I'll already have a job :D Anyway, would you, who reads this now, be willing to share your experience on how you've become a freight dispatcher? Was this free course helpful to you? I've also heard that people from Eastern Europe get a lower commission percentage. Is this something to consider? Because, as I think it's only a matter of negotiations. But do the truck drivers actually want to work with foreigners? I'd appreciate any advice from those who have already gone through the path of becoming a freight dispatcher and have some experience they'd like to share in a few sentences here. And to those who are only starting as I am, I wish you the best, and I want you to know that even if you feel like it's too complicated, and tons of information are pressing you from the top to the ground, you can do it regardless! I'm rooting for everyone. God bless you all!
