A single stitch pattern can transform plain yarn into something that looks considered and complex, even when the process is anything but. Texture is also wonderfully forgiving. It hides minor tension inconsistencies, it works beautifully in one colour, and it photographs like a dream. Have you experimented with texture on your machine yet?
