When the heart is hardened, it becomes difficult to feel that emotional connection and shed tears. But the beautiful truth is: our hearts can soften again. When we sincerely repent, hold ourselves accountable, and draw closer to Allah, the heart humbles and tears flow naturally. Distractions and whispers (waswās) in our minds can also pull us away from true focus, making it hard to concentrate or feel connected. ✨ Here’s what you can do: - Reflect quietly before praying or reading Qur’an, asking Allah to open your heart. - Focus deeply on the meaning of the words, imagining their weight and significance. - Gently push away distracting thoughts and remind yourself of Allah’s mercy and greatness. - Be patient and consistent—softening your heart is a journey, not a race.
