Wisdom belongs everywhere. Wisdom belongs to you. When we call for it, wisdom meets us, because wisdom recognises wisdom. I have spent this life digging in the dirt, thirsty—until I learned how to dig my Wisdom Well. Then I stood in wonder each day, watching the water of wisdom transform the dry, dead surface of my life into a garden. Wisdom has the power to do that. You see, wisdom is not words. Wisdom is not knowledge. Wisdom is your true seeing and true being. It lives behind the words. It sends its gifts through words, or art, or silence, like carrier waves of healing. Wisdom loves like that. Wisdom doesn’t only belong to saints and sages, or on dusty ancient shelves. Wisdom belongs in the grit and grime, in the raw and the real. It belongs in busy minds, and in hearts stretched by suffering. Wisdom moves like that. Wisdom doesn’t ask us to believe. Wisdom doesn’t divide. It invites us to see for ourselves. To look deep enough until we see our shared being and seeing looking back. Wisdom unifies like that. I am so grateful for the wisdom that nourishes me each day, meeting my doubt with kind knowing, strengthening the song of wholeness, and giving me back to myself. I’ll offer you metaphors and stories—an invitation to see through my eyes, so that you might discover the wonder of this for yourself. A thousand Wisdom Wells all draw from the same clear water. We paint our buckets differently. We translate into different words. Some days, we use wisdom for healing. Other days, for celebrating. But water recognises water. Perhaps, like me, you hear wisdom singing a call to freedom. Perhaps, like me, your soul is tired of feeling the pain of a planet imprisoned by thirst. Perhaps, like me, you also dream of a world awake, free from the suffering of fighting over buckets full of sand, free of building forts around defended surface identities. When all the while, what we seek is just beneath the surface. Let’s discover what we share, what belongs to us all equally.

Mind noise vs Wisdom Resonance
When we feel stuck, overwhelmed by choices, surrounded by noise... it helps to remember how wisdom speaks. Mind speaks with language and thoughts. Wisdom speaks with resonance and knowing. This is why whenever I want to make business choices, find solutions, see into what my business wants from me—like a farmer walking their Wisdom farm looking for what needs tending—I step away from my desk and build my Wisdom Well. It seems crazy to take time from a busy day, but intentionally feeling into the choices, sensing the "click" or "block," the open flow or the uncomfortable resistance, is key. Being loving to our inner obstacles, fears, and reluctance. Being open to new seeing and being. Then feeling: how does love want to move today, to serve my business so that it serves others? Then we do that sacred, ordinary work.

'Sacred, ordinary work'...I love this phrase, Col. Too often we think of sacred work being flamboyant or miraculous, and it can certainly be that, but mostly it is in our ordinary, daily walk. It's important to be aware of this so as not to live on auto-pilot and miss the sacred altogether. Thank you.
